Joining rafter vents for 4' space

My trusses are 48" spacing and I want to use ADO Durovent which is 23.5" wide. What do you guys use to attach to trusses and to each other to span the 48"? I want to use blow in insulation in my 32x40 polebarn.

I would put in a dummy "rafter" and head it off between the trusses far enough back so you can use the battle and be above blow in depth.

duct tape together or just staple them to the top plate/sheathing works for me.

wouldn't you staple two of them side by side and stapple to the roof purlins? then seal off space at soffit/wall/ceiling junction to prevent cellulose from blocking vent ends...
