Hello I want to buy a good jump starter. I see that the Noco GB70 has 2000A and JNC660 has 1700A is very clear that a little less Amp the JNC660 has but that is not important because that is not proof it's real performance the important is that works the device when you require including the most complex situations. I don't know which of the both is best in performance and durability. We had a bad experience in our Honda Car and the battery drained totally and a Chinese cheap jumper left us in the nowhere and did nothing then for that bad experience I considered in buy a better and trustable start jumper for emergencies like that one where the battery was totally dead.
What I liked about JNC660 is the fact you can replace the batteries easily but the GB70 I liked also for the Sparks protection and the portability, its weight is 5 lb while the JNC660 18-19 lb. I would prefer the portability of GB70 and also and dummy features and I was reading the reviews in Amazon that some people tested the jump starter GB70 in all kind of cars including without battery installed on the cars to check if the GB70 could resist to jump start like that and it did but in other cases not. Now the JNC660 has similar opinions but some comments say is focused mostly to jump start having a little power in the battery of the car to work properly. Now in our bad experience that was not our case in our case fits the example of dead battery like if was removed from the car and jump start from there.
Now for the portability and the anti sparks feature I would go with GB70 but what I did not like is that the battery only support 1000 cycles and is dead and I asked to Noco and they told me if during 1 year of warranty the battery is dead then they replace but after 1 year they don't replace batteries including if you want to buy from them or request a paying repair service. It means after 1 year your product is disposable totally because although you want to pay for a repair or replace of batteries Noco doesn't want to do anything although you want to pay for the service so sad.
By the other side the JNC660 they give you a coupon for life that if one day fails the unit no matter the years then they replace for 50 US for a new one or if you whish you can replace the battery by yourself buying at a price around 40 US.
Now I posted this because what we want is the best option and a unit that can jump start in the most complex situations like if the unit could brings to life a dead like our bad experience. If the GB70 is better doing that then is not a problem if it is disposable the important is not run risks on the road but if JNC660 does better the jump starting dead batteries or could start like if was without battery the car is not important the 18-19 lb.
Which of the both has better performance with dead batteries similar to say like if battery was removed from your car and also best performance?
Thank you
