I'm running 4/0 aluminum wire to my shop. I'm wanting to terminate it outside then run copper inside. Is there a junction box or is this even feasible?

You can do anything you want. I don't know why you'd want to run copper inside though....

Sure, there are all kinds and sizes available. Here's one example at Home Depot: http://www.homedepot.com/s/nema 3r junction box?NCNI-5 Look for a box that is rated 'NEMA 3R', which means it's designed for outdoor use and has top designed to keep rain out.

There are no terminals in a junction box. Drill, or knock out holes for proper size connectors to hold conductors.
You need to use a burndy (split bolt connector) or a 2 hole lug. Thin coat of noalox on each conductor, join them together with chosen lug, then rubber and vinyl tape over.

Joining AL to CU will require something other than split bolts I think. You will need a rated connector such as Polaris connectors.

Still lost as to why you just don't run conduit (depending on the wire/cable being used) and just carry the wire to the panel. Adding a splice is just adding to the future failure list, and for what a junction and Polaris connectors will cost, you probably can buy the conduit.

Sounds like you are rather set on the copper inside however.
