The lady and I work from home. We also have a bunch of kids. So we decided to build a 2 story garage, with office space on top. Unfortunately, the city didn't really like our idea, so we decided to fix what we have and make it into our moto haven. (We'll just have to deal with working in the house with 4 kids)
The bummer. We only have a 20x19 footprint to deal/live with. The problem: I have over 10 motorcycles and equipment to go in it.

Due to time constraints, I'm farming out the roof and siding. We wanted to keep the original lap, and only fix the bad pieces. But the more I got into it, the more it ended in the scrap pile.

We ordered the new siding, I got the place all plied, bought the Tyvek wrap and some outer layer, and now I'm sitting on my laptop, as it's been raining for two days and supposed to rain for at least two more. I can't work on the interior, as I'm waiting on the electrician to run wire, hook up the panel, then get inspected. After that, I'm getting my 18K BTU Mitsubishi unit installed. I must admit, I'm pretty excited about that.

While it's raining, I decided to do away with the garage door and install french doors. We're never going to get a car in there anyway. Now trying to find the rights doors. Did I mention my lady is a designer? It makes it tough...
