And it hurt. Need some moral support haha.
Brand new 6 bills.
Brand new 6 bills.
take it apart and post pictures of the seals!
I guess I would want to know how it feels to spend 6 Bills on a $180 jack???
That's a very infamous floor jack. It made Snap-On so furious that they threw a lawsuit at HF. There hasn't been proof that the components of the FJ300 is the same design/quality as the Daytona, right? However, after Snap-On threw the lawsuit at HF, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out the quality of the FJ300, w/ or w/o confirming the "seal".

I’m not from Maine, but that there is funny

To prove the hypothesis, the hydraulic component was to be dissected from the SO jack but the guy never (I think) prove the hypothesis and left people hanging for a very long time.
.
I can tell you one thing, if Snap On doesn't learn from that entire debacle, they never will. HF actually stated that the jacks were made in the same factory. There was a settlement and HF had to pay no money, they also did not have to stop the advertising. I think the dots can be connected. Just so you guys know, I was the proud recipient of the FJ200 before HF made the daytona. I will be buying a daytona next, not an FJ300 and my driver knows it. Today I bought 1/2" snap on semi deep impacts, so I am far from a Snap On hater.
Buy it and compare to your fj200. It’s been posted countless times they are NOT the same. Even hiball brought one took it apart and told everyone. They don’t even look that alike to me either.
My driver passed away. If he didn’t I would have brought one
My dealer had one of those jacks on the truck right after they came out. Of course my dealer made it sound like it was the greatest jack ever produced, and made it sound like they were hard to get. "Its the only one I could get". I was VERY tempted to buy it. At first I kicked myself because I didn't, but now I look back and and think "man, I'm so glad I didn't buy that thing". Lol.I bought the FJ200 when it first came out. Worst thing I’ve purchased off the truck. U joint for handle to pump connection broke. Got a new jack. Doesn’t work below 10 degrees. Ok when it’s warm though.

Everything from a Miata up to a 1 ton diesel, it's lifted everything I've rolled it under. The zerks keep everything greased and smooth.
geez ... I wouldn't even do it just to satisfy the marginal group of ppl. I just don't think it's a good idea to stir the wound any further. We should all move on and try to embrace "Made in USA" as much as possible. So after reading the 58 pages in the main thread I’m not opposed to tearing down my FJ300 to finally put this to rest as long as hiball guides me through the disassembly just to reassure me I’m not going to F anything up.
I bought the Blue point YA1707a like new for $180 it's 3.5 ton and been a great jack I chose it over the Daytona it's also made in Asia it was the forerunner to the snap on fj300 there was a used fj300 like new ideas used once for sale for $350 in my area I passed on it as well I just picked by color I like blue all are Asian made and equal I every way as of build quality also snap on is good for offering parts so choice was easy.
