Got two nice packages in the mail today. *YAY mode* One Craftsman 1/4 set and one Snap-On 1/4 set. The Cman was bought from our own wrenchr (thank you ) and the S-O from SecondHandTools in the UK. Found the S-O by chance one late night when browsing for vintage tools and after a few emails the next day it was mine. Very nice people to deal with. And only £39 + £15 s/h for a 37 piece set.
Date code is 1965.

That would be cool if you would take some shots of your tools, toolbox and garage? Are you in Norway? Maybe give us an idea what the tool situation is over there! Inquiring minds want to know! That is a nice little Snap-On set; I got a set like that at a flea market and it jump started my Snap-On tool set; I later upgraded my ratchet to a more modern design.

That should help out with the "winter blues". Whenever I was in Norway over X-mas, I just seemed to go into hibernation mode. The little bit of dusk from noon to 2pm that you guys call "day" is just not right...

OTOH, salmon fishing in the summer during the "night" was great

Will post some pics of my tools in the respective threads in the new year. Man, I wish I could go to the kind of flea markets you guys do. Btw. If I were to buy those S-O pieces new here in Norway the price would be £54 x 10 - x 12.
Buying them used here and there would mean loads of s/h cost. I consider myself lucky finding this set at someone who would ship to Norway, and at that price.

Knipex, Bahco, Gedore, Hazet, Stahlwille, Teng, Kamasa, USAG are common hand tools in the pro field here in Norway. As well as others I don't remember right now. You can also buy MAC, Snap-On, Craftsman and KD.
