snap on does not give us calendars for free. drives menuts every year when people try and flag you down for a free calendar. i had two try it this morning. have a good monday guys/gals

I have pieces of charcoal with a ribbon tied around it on the truck to give out to people who complain about the christmas gifts I am giving out.
So guys actually stop you just for a calendar, without dealing with you before or wanting to buy anything? I like free stuff as much as anyone but I don't think I ever could stop a working guy just to beg for a free calendar and not at least buy something for taking up his time.
Well since your on here can you send me one please? Just kidding!!!![]()
How dare they ask for 5 dollars worth of **** after buying a 800 dollar set of wrenches. Those Greedy bastards, lolCalenders, hats, pocket screwdrivers..... You would be surprised at what people ask for.

I don't blame the walk-up guys. To them you are the only face of Snap-on they get to see for whatever reason.

Then they wear them around, advertising someone else's brand names ; actually spending money to do so.
Young people buy Nike T-shirts, etc, which are just regular T-shirts with someone's brand on them, and pay MORE for them than if that exact same T-shirt had been blank.

I want a free calender, hat & pocket screw driver from both you guys. But only if you have free shipping.![]()
I would tell any non customer when I get an unlimited supply of free stuff I will hand it out like candy. Some people probably assume the Snap On corporate gives dealers a few hundred free.![]()

I had a brother and cousin that farmed some 10 thousand acres of dryland wheat. They did the tilling with Cats. Cat was one of the first to stop giving out hats ans start selling them. Cousin went in to buy 3 new D5a's to replace the old D6's. He worked with the salesman over a few weeks and finally arrived at a price. As he set down to sign the papers he had one more request, and the salesman 'bout melted. He said to seal the deal he needed a case of summer and a case of winter hats. He got them and all the men on the ranch got new hats.

no neat sig line
Chad & Shaun, you're also forgetting about the guy at a shop that refuses to talk to you because he only deals with ________ tool company. You know the guy that I'm talking about, you say hi to him & he'll turn around & walk the other way to avoid you. You give him something to try & make a customer out of him & don't even get a "thank you". I dare you to not give him something next year, you'll never hear the end of it. He'll even have the balls to tell everyone that he was your best customer till then!
Do you walk into Home Depot and ask for free stuff?
Do you walk into Home Depot and ask for free stuff?

That situation is a little different than some Joe Blow coming to a Snap-on truck and asking for a free hat or calender.

u r very right chad.... flyers cost 80 a month.
I wanted the 55K BTU and they only had the big one (180k?, 150? not sure). Asked for a few bucks off, he marked it from $398 to $150. I woulda been happy with $350. The price tag and his correction are still on it for proof, lol. That was at Lowes. So anyway, my point is, it never hurt me to ask, but it has helped.
