I'm a distribution line inspector for one of the top rated power companies in the USA. I check behind the line contractors and tree trimmers to make sure they are doing their jobs correctly, and not billing us for stuff they didn't do. I was a lineman for the same company for 27 years before switching to this job. I tell people I traded the backaches for the headaches....lol.

Electrical Assembler - Journeyman Wireman/Tech Support - for 10 years or so, no formal training. Used to be a Welder before I switched jobs.

A bit of a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none as well...

Shop Teacher, Autos and welding. It's my first year teaching. It's a fun job most of the time and the shops we have to work with at "work" are what I wish I had at home.

For 12 years I worked for myself doing 3D computer animations reconstructing accidents for attorneys. Very interesting work. I did an aircraft engine failure where the hydraulic lifter failed which caused the valve tip to break off, dropping the valve into the cylinder.

The largest case I've worked on was the pipeline explosion outside of Carlsbad NM. That was 30 inch natural gas pipeline at about 700 psi that ruptured causing a fire 497 feet high. It killed an extending family of 12.

The picture might be too small, but at lower left of fireball can be seen the 85-foot-tall support structures for the pipeline suspension bridges.

The crater is 86 feet long, 46 feet wide, and 20 feet deep.

For the last 3 years I've been an IT guy for OU Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Just recently I got a call from the attorney for the pipeline explosion case and now the emergency responders have a case going to trial in September. Does anyone have a day stretcher tool???
