In my neck of the woods, a box like that goes for roughly $40 to $60. The little 7 drawer machinist chest goes for about the same. From the picture of the vise, it looks like it's between 4 and 5 inches wide. It also appears to be missing the two screw in vise jaws.
IMO you are on the losing end of that deal for a trade. Oxwall tools were never high quality to begin with. I don't think that you would be able to find replacements for them. You would have to make your own which would not be a problem if you are machinist or know one.
I would keep the box and buy a cheap but functional vise at Lowe's or Home Depot. You will still have a high quality dependable tool box and not a piece of junk vise. For what it is worth, you can probably get a similar vise for between $5 and $10 at a garage sale if you can take the time to hunt one down. I just picked up a Wilton 4 1/2 Tradesman vise which is very similar to the one in your picture for $2 at a yard sale.
