Kent Moore J-1928-01 Tool ID Needed

I found this Kent Moore J-1928-01. The socket side appears to be 15/16" 12 Point. Any ideas on what the purpose of the tool is. The guy who's estate i bought it from fixed IH tractors.

-Looks similar to an offset distributor clamp wrench. Purpose would be for the "reach around" and likely for a specific tractor. It's a somewhat generic type of wrench for when you don't have clear access to the fastener.

I’ve seen similar tools for tightening down cylinder base nuts on large radial aircraft engines.

The Bonney I have were torque adapters for cylinder head nuts. The largest being 3/4”.

You might find something comparable under Snap-On or OTC.

Thanks you. I was checking online and have not seen any this large before.

-Some other members have posted applications where a more robust wrench was needed. I'd favor those postings over my suggestion of a distributor wrench.

Smaller versions of this are for accessing OHV cylinder head nuts while the rocker shaft remains in place..

Try Diesel engines for an application.

Many older head gasket designs required re-torquing after a certain number of run hours on new gaskets. A tool like your wrench would allow access to the head bolts with the valve gear in place for this re-torquing step. This saved a lot of time versus removing and reinstalling components and readjusting valve clearances.
