^ I had some Klein sockets - no branding on them at all - and I believe they were made either by National Hand Tool in Dallas or possibly ProAmerica/EmporiumForging in Emporium, PA. Nothing to substantiate that other than visual comparisons with other known specimens.
The ratchet in that kit does somewhat resemble ProAmerica product.

I bought a Klein metric socket set that has Klein and USA stamped on them. That was in the 1990s. Some yrs later I was going to buy an SAE set but all their socket ads did not have made in the USA anymore so I passed. Their prices had also dropped drastically so I figured they outsourced offshore like everyone else. They both came in a metal tray with folding lid. Sockets have thinner walls than some of my other brands...which I believe was to fit inside electrical panels better.

I have no idea who made the set in post #1, but at one time Klein socket sets were made by SK. I saw sets on jobsites, but don't recall ever seeing a set to buy or I would have
