Picked up this 1/2” drive socket set yesterday. I don’t recall ever seeing a Klein socket set. Does anyone know who manufactured these sets for Klein?

^ I had some Klein sockets - no branding on them at all - and I believe they were made either by National Hand Tool in Dallas or possibly ProAmerica/EmporiumForging in Emporium, PA. Nothing to substantiate that other than visual comparisons with other known specimens.
The ratchet in that kit does somewhat resemble ProAmerica product.

Can’t say with certainty, but Wright offered similar looking packaging.

They have sourced from multiple manufacturers over the years.

I thought Wright made a few Klein things over the years. Not sure when.

I bought a Klein metric socket set that has Klein and USA stamped on them. That was in the 1990s. Some yrs later I was going to buy an SAE set but all their socket ads did not have made in the USA anymore so I passed. Their prices had also dropped drastically so I figured they outsourced offshore like everyone else. They both came in a metal tray with folding lid. Sockets have thinner walls than some of my other brands...which I believe was to fit inside electrical panels better.

I have no idea who made the set in post #1, but at one time Klein socket sets were made by SK. I saw sets on jobsites, but don't recall ever seeing a set to buy or I would have
