Total YMMV situation. The store by me has them hanging for the full $19.99 price. Disappointed by that as I'd picked up a pair at another store last month for under $8. Check before you rush out!

Just found a $4 pair of 8" and $5 for the 10" alligators in SE Aurora, CO. The store 5 miles down the road still has them around $15.

There's about 8 of them at my store for $15.98.

On the web page linked to, look to the right side at "related items".
Though the OP's 8" pliers were $19.99 at my store, the related items showed 10" alligator pliers for $6.23. I guess Lowes is a YMMV store.

Prepare for a wave of cancellation calls. Most of this stuff has been on clearance for months...even if your store has some, it is stowed on the shelves above and the employee will not search anything but the normal rack for your order.

Ordered 2 and received email notification they were ready for pickup within 2 hours. Price was $3.53 each. We will see if they have them. The electrical section in my area has been bare for 3-4 months at least. Neighboring stores were at higher prices and all different. New Carrollton Md was the location

There are 2 left in Wake Forest NC at $2.60 although the price on the shelf says $10.38. They are with the electrical tools. When I ordered mine they were ready in about an hour.

I ordered a set only and received an e-mail stating they were ready for collection. I was disappointed to drive to the store and discover that none were in stock.

The pliers I mentioned being in stock in College Station are on the electrical tools rack priced at $5.19.
Now, I was in Lowes last week and checked for Knipex deals. I previously bought other closeout Knipex but last week no Knipex on the racks. Not sure why Lowes suddenly has a few more Knipex.

I just picked mine up. I didn't order them online i just went to the store. $6.79 each got 2 pairs they had 3 more but I don't need all of them.

Also they were in the top stock in a box not on display. So when you go to the store ask them to check top stock.

I'm very happy they are worth at least $12 in my opinion but normally sell for $20 I wouldn't pay that much for a pair.

Because it's most likely in top stock. Ask a guy to physically go up the ladder and check. I did that today and asked him to look for any other Knipex stuff while he was up there.

I just picked up a pair for $5 and change... the one that I went to had a few more pairs on the shelf still. I ordered online, and the tag in the store still said they were about $13. Not sure how they would have rung up if I had just bought them in store.

Ordered a set online for in-store pickup this morning but never received the email letting me know they were ready for pickup. By late afternoon I got concerned and called Lowes customer service. They contacted the store where I ordered from and the manager said there were none in stock.

The rep call another local Lowes, but they refused to price match. They did offer to discount them to $14.95. I said "no thanks".

Found another local Lowe's that had them in stock for $5.19, so I went and grab a pair.

While I was there I browse through "Tool World" and the electrical isles and noticed that there weren't any Knipex's to be found on the shelves.

Another thing... All my other Knipex pliers have the model number printed on the handles, these don't.

Great deal. Thanks to the OP.

That **** really pisses me off. Nearest Lowes is 9 miles away, 3x the distance of the nearest HD. If I get an email (after the "order confirmation" email) that clearly states "your order is ready to be picked up", then my order ought to f'ing be there ready to be picked up...not "ready for you to come down so we can then start to look to see if we have any of what you want." I ordered a welder once and it was a no-show. I wasted an hour and a half, including the time I waited at the customer no servive area while they looked for my item, and left empty handed.
