Long story shortened, he was saying look at the Chinese, what do you see? Egg rolls, Lo Mein, laundromats, etc.
What do you think of when you think of Japan, Sony, Mitsubishi (let the zero/Truman slide ), Panasonic......

I stopped him by pointing up behind him and saying "Look, Godzilla"

I do get a laugh out of racism/sterotyping.

Hey, the Chinese didn't bomb Pearl Harbor ..

Look at the Japanese, what do you see .. Toyota, Honda, .. our money have made Japan one of richest nations .. sure they employ a few American workers, but the bulk of the money goes back to Japan ..

Import, we had that discussion before.
Shortened, but it involved him not believing he ended up in Truman's "home town".
Me telling him what all I could bring him since Truman's cousin lived next door (shared drive), gramps buried him (worked at the funeral home), and he personally made a call that caused a friend of mine to be rescued in Korea (during the war).
