Yeah, I'm still considering it, but at the moment, I don't really need a bigger box as the Cornwell has taken up some space that I need, but is a little more manageable than the snap on.
The only considerations I have truly are:
1. The ability to use the SO top as a bench. I can use the Cornwell top too, but it's smaller area and the fact that if I have something on top of the box and then happen to need something in the top area, then I have to move stuff or plan ahead.
2. Based on the numbers, the overall square inches of the SO is not that significant considering I could add a side cabinet to the Cornwell later on if I need and the cost of the side box being not far off from the potential costs of slides, I think I'd rather spend that money on something optional and not a necessity.
3. It seemed that the guage of steel used on the so box is thinner than the cornwell, but need to research to see.
While none of these individually are big issues that would break a deal, all of them seem to add up.
I'm probably being ****, but since I have a really nice box now, albeit not as big as the SO, box, I've not yet run out of space in the cornwell.
On a side note, the wife likes the cornwell better, if that means anything....lol
Edit to add:
Having done some searching, there seems to be about 2000, maybe less, more square inches of storage in the so box. So while it has a top that can be used as a bench, I think I will stick with my cornwell and look at a side cabinet in the future if I need more space.
