Hi all. It's been a bit of a few years.
Within two weeks of posting these pics my wife fell deathly ill with an autoimmune response disease. Her immune system tried to kill her along with an unknown virus she picked up along the way. The outcome was CPAN or cutaneous polyarteritis nodosa. Her immune system attacked the linings of her veins and arteries causing much of her skin on her legs to ulcer and open like burn wounds. Had she responded with SPAN systemic polyarteritis nodosa where her major organs are attacked she likely would have died. CPAN just makes you wish you were dead.
I didn't go into the shop for a very long time during her recovery, which took months. I was laid off in late 2024 as I just couldn't keep up with everything. It took me nine months to find another job in this economy and then they laid me off in January of this year. So I'm back pounding the pavement and training to do DoD/W CMMC Assessment work.
I've at least moved most of my stuff into the shop and got my requisite flag up. I built

my own bifold doors over this time but that's about the most productive I've been out there. The weather has been absolute icy **** here for weeks so that's been my excuse to not go out there. I am looking forward to warmer weather in the spring and forcing myself to get out to the shop and put up my cabinets etc.
How do you all handle life distractions like these? Do they drive you to the shop or make you just not care at all?
Thanks for listening.
