On Labor Day responded to an ad for a drill press, old school Craftsman.

While I was there, he showed me a cabinet that was full of some goodies. This had been left behind, maybe two owners of the house ago.

I didn't get a couple of pics. One of the boxes had a bunch of little endcaps in it....the other one had what looks like a small vise.

I asked him about the cabinet. He had no interest in it. Went back tonight and picked it up.

I have another cabinet EXACTLY like this one, same dimensions, style, everything, but this one is on casters, that one isn't. This one is 6" higher thanks to the castors. Thinking of cleaning this one up and painting a nice blue.

Okay...I know what you're thinking....what did I pay. Drill press was $75. All the stuff in the cabinet was thrown in. He asked me how much I'd give him for the cabinet, I offered $30, more than fair considering he gave me all that stuff that was in it.

Oh...and picked this up on Sunday...

Another $30.

So $135 for all this stuff. How did I do?! :pimpflash

Hey Neal...no deals down here in Georgia! :spit:

You should have seen him today. When I got my compressor they also had a Quincy single phase QE-5 there that a guy "was coming to pick up". Before the day was over they had figured out it was single phase and decided to keep it. John kept eyeballin' that one and we inquired several times about it but no deal...:(

By the way, great haul...

And

YOU ****

Thanks, fellas....but I was expecting to be told "I ****!" :lol_hitti

In my original post, I guess I should have clarified....seller had absolutely no interest in ANY of that stuff. If that basement had been full of snap on tools, I probably could've got them for a song!

That's not a compression gauge you have there it's a tire inflator you remove a spark plug from one cylinder screw that assembly in hook the hose to the low tire start the engine and run until desired pressure is reached and assemble in reverse order. How much did you pay for the Blue Point tap and die set i have one exactly like it i got at an auction for 5 buck's i have all the tap's and die's O Yea Great Score !!!!!!!!
