im in the proscess of buying a 58" cornwell box and would like to put a top on it. i have a very large section of butcher block laying around, have any of you guys made your own top of any kid? pics would be great. thanks
so you just remove the top drawer and bolt upwards?
That's what I did with my Snap-on roller cabinet. I used a piece of plywood I had sitting around, cut to fit, with a piece of tempered hardboard screwed on top of that. It's very durable, and when it does get too beat up I can easily replace the hardboard with a new piece.
