If nobody knows for sure of one that works w/ the HF laser, does anybody have experience mixing of any manufacturers between the laser receiver and the rotary laser itself? aka, a Bosch laser works w/ a Dewalt receiver, etc... There must be some sort of crossover, right?

I would think a laser beam is a laser beam. You might see if you can check the specs on the HF output to determine if it will be strong enough at whatever distance(s) you need. All laser products sold in the US have to be be compliant so specs should be available.

That's what I had thought too, but when I was looking at reviews for laser receivers, several mentioned that they only worked with certain models of rotary laser even by the same manufacturer. If a receiver doesn't work with some of the lasers from the same manufacturer, it casts doubt that it would work with lasers from a different manufacturer.

At the end of the day I don't know much about why this is, but am hoping someone can help out.

Just a little googlefu.
there are different wave length of laser lights and class for power etc... not sure

why don't you call the manufactures and ask?

this is the receiver's manufacture user guide and contact.

We do land form work. We have a mix of transmitters and a mix of machine control receivers and handheld receivers.
We have no problem with them operating correct together . We constantly check ourselves with known bench marks. Using transit and or GPS. The only real problem we have is distance. All transmitters have different operating ranges. We have Topcon, Trimble, Bosh and others.

Don't know if this helps.
