Leaking fitting?

I have had this threaded fitting apart at least three times. First time I used tape and the next couple times pipe dope. Is it OK to use something like RTV sealant on it or do I have to unsolder the adapter and solder on a new one? I have a tube of Permatex ultra gold I was going to try. I really don't want to get back into soldering on this thing. It took me a few tries till I got it all leak free the first time.

is that a gas shut off you're connected to?
that fitting looks like it might be overtightened and maybe stretched the valve or deformed the fitting .
if it's just an occasional drip it may seal up over time. otherwise replace the valve & the fitting

No, It is the hot side of my radiant floor heat manifold. Not sure if I can easily replace that part. Got it online a few years ago. I just want to get it to seal. It only needs to hold about 15 psi.

Teflon tape it then pipe dope. And tighten. Looks like there is a union on the other side to the manifold. Easy to change out.

That male adapt looks pretty deep you might want to check and make sure there is not a hairline crack on the manifold.
