I came across this while digging for another pic. My first welder and my first project with it welding. Being cheap, I cut apart a Jeep CJ7 tire carrier and used pieces of it. The handles were made with conduit and a pipe bender and all cuts were with a chop saw. I probably spent an entire at on it. Those were the days. The welder worked really well and I got my money out if it. It's duty cycle killed me and prompted me to upgrade to my first Miller.

Cool, an old spark box. I used to go over to a friends house to use hid when I needed to burn something home on thicker material (way back in the day). Those were not pretty welds. Fairly certain I used the wrong rod for the vertical welds I did once. Bumper never did fall off though.
