The Halco LED tubes are frosted thankfully! They give off a really nice light with no strange shadows or other things. I remember you had suggested them a few years ago when I asked if anyone had any recommendations for a good, mid-level cost replacement ballast bypass LED tube bulb. That is why I bought them!Dont get clear. Get frosted instead.

And when the LED's **** out you replace the entire fixture, and they do not last forever.Hello Snapmom
I'm not an electrician, but... my sister's dance studio has those old fluorescent fixtures on the ceiling, and as each one dies (usually a failing ballast), I pull them down and buy a "plug and play" LED fixture.
Last one was about $80 bucks at Home Depot - 48 inch unit. "Strip light" I believe they called it - not even a "bulb" per se - looks like a piece of sparkly tape.
She loved it. Girls love it.
I will never again replace or attempt to repair a fluorescent fixture - the LED is too easy, way brighter, and they last forever.
