For $9 and free shipping, I may have to try one of these.
Good reviews too.

Home Depot has $9.95 drop in LED bulbs in the stores.

Depending on the store you may find drop in and ballast delete LED from $9.97 to over $22.00 each. The LED replacement market is a little screwed up....to say the least. As this photo shows the drop in bulbs were $22.97 reduced to $14 ?????

Some of these will drop in almost any fixture others may not. Purchase at the store makes returns easy.

Given a T8 bulb can be found for $3.00 replacing witha $20 or even $9 LED bulb may never pay back on power used might pay back if the LED last as longest they say.

I used some of these LED replacement bulbs and their light output (Lumens) is down considerably vice the old fluorescent bulbs.

I prefer to get rid of the ballasts and rewire the lights. I have 4 or 5 old fixtures which have the old magnetic ballasts which won't work with the drop in led tubes anyway.

I'd consider the James led's that Platonic Solid speaks highly of. I bought a bunch of the Philips instantfit before anyone was selling less than a case at a time of the James or I would have gone that way.
I am very happy with the Philips if anyone's considering them. Equal or better light output than the T8's I was using and instant on is great.
