I have a 25' x 25' two car garage with a 9.5' ceiling. I have picked up 8 T8 fixtures and 16 samsung LED T8 bulbs.
Before I get cracking on installing them, I thought I would see if the GJ folks had recommendations for how to arrange these fixtures in my space to get the best illumination.
The garage is an attached 2 car, with 4 man doors and 2 car doors. Man door 1 leads to the backyard. Man door 2 leads to the living room. Man door 3 is at the bottom is a flight of stairs in the garage leading to my parts room in the basement. Man door 4 leads to the front porch.
The wall furthest away from the house is where I have my welding carts, two work benches and tool box. 2' wide welding cart, 6' steel bench, 6' tool box, 8' wood bench. I plan to put the lights over the bench on a separate circuit from the rest.
Only other thing to mention is there is a beam running the length of the ceiling (front to back) right in the middle. This beam drops down about 9", which could obstruct light if a fixture is placed too close to it.
