Friend gave me 24 new TGTTU 150185 OF-4BC light tubes. I know that the tubes need to by pass the ballast, but I have not found a wiring diagram. I am hoping a member can help me out.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I am no expert, and am not familiar with that brand/part number, but we have been switching our office area over to LED as each ballast goes out. I buy the cheapest ballast bypass tubes I can find in 10 or 20 packs.

Anyway, all three types did the same wiring. One end of the fixture gets wired to hot, the other neutral.

Thanks for the reply. I will wire one up and try it.

If I don't report back later, may have had a blow up:shocking:

There are at least three types/ways of wiring LED replacement tubes:
1. plug in replacements that work with the ballast.
2. double ended tubes (shunted)
3. single ended tubes (non-shunted)

Your description is for the double ended tubes, others are wired differently.

2. double ended tubes normally shunted, but non-shunted might work, too
3. single ended tubes ALWAYS non-shunted

Fixed it for ya!
