That's an interesting bluepoint wrench. The date stamp looks like a 27, but style looks later?
Wait what? It is a bluepoint, and if my eyes are ok I'm seeing the same date stamp as alloy artifacts show as 37.Yes, 1937.. If it was a Blue Points, it would be 27
Learn something new every day I guessThere is Blue Point and Blue Points. The Blue Points were 20s, The "s" was dropped, and then Blue Point was dropped and Snap on was stamped on.
I don't think so. Just a 1937 bp st2824.Is the Blue Point ST a tappet wrench and the Snap-On a regular open end?

Here is the KRA-229 I found the other day. It got a bit "roach-y" over the years. I hate the person who invented masking tape by the way. It was probably decades old and had a kung-fu grip on the box. I will probably end up sanding it down to bare metal and repaint it one day. I'm keeping this little gem!

Yeah, that’s what I’m seeing - the prefixed hyphen and straight vertical of the “7” makes me think 1927. 1937 would have a straight horizontal/curved vertical “7”.That's an interesting bluepoint wrench. The date stamp looks like a 27, but style looks later?
This one with stamping on the body 26-29. the stamping on the head is earlier. Here is a close up of the other one
It is a Power socket, industrial, from close to 1930. Hard to find
There is a lot of pics and history on Blue Point, Blue Points on the toolarchives site.
This emblem says Boxockets , but I have only seen one, and it was a special.
