I've got a few Blackhawk. I'm TDY. I'll take some pics when I get back.

There was a thread on the hammer head wrenches a couple weeks ago.
...with zero (0) participation from a Vintage Board reggler 'cept you, I see, because it was posted on the other board. I hate that. Who knows what else we miss. I tell myself I really need to check it more often, but I never do. Thanks for the link, 3bay.

Found an odd duck at the fleamarket this morning.

It has two offsets on the same end - 45* down (See pic 1) and 45* over (See pic 2). The box ends are both double-hex and they are not forged on the end of the shank on an angle. In other words, it's a true knucklebuster on the straight end, and, if not for the offsets, it would be a true knucklebuster on the other end, too. Both ends have the same size service opening: 9/16". It has a natural steel finish with the wartime logo. The marking, which was deeply stamped, reads, "Snap/on B-1757 9/16" (See pic 3) and "MADE IN U.S.A." (See pic 4). There is no date code.

I can't find it in either the 1942 or 1945 catalogs. I haven't looked in any others. I suspect it's either a brake wrench (which the B- series model number might help indicate...) or, based on its shape, possibly a cylinder head nut wrench for an Indian or HD WLA motorcycle. They were typically either S DBE wrenches or DBE wrenches with odd offsets.

That is odd. Snap on offered x series offset wrenches similar to that but but they were labeled bluepoint. The b would typically indicate a brake wrench. Nice find!

I was surprised to find this SnapOn TQ-3 1/4" drive torqometer (inch pound) at the flea this weekend. Serial number is 8449, is there any way to derive the production date from the serial?

This guy must have had a long service life. There are a number of property marks in series down the face. From the top down, they have been etched in with electric pencil and then crossed out with electric pencil until the final number remains.

I don't usually try to buy the Snap-On stuff at the flea because vendors tend to think it's made of gold, but the price on this was better than reasonable, so into the bag it went.

Nice snag, Unaiu. I found a TQ-50 (3/8) a few years ago. I never could find any info on the serial numbers, maybe someone else will chime in now that didn't back then. But mine has the exact same dial face. While these models were made from 1943 through 1967, that last patent number (2,682,796) is 1954, so it can't be any older than that.

Nice find User Name! I found one in a pawn shop years ago, but with a white face, which I think is newer. I also have Snap-on dial types from inch-ounce to 250 Ft/lb. They are my go to's now (not that I need them much anymore.)

Neat wrench Snapmom. For some reason I never thought about 9/32 torque wrenches, let alone seen one.

Picked up a 1930 piece today.

3/8 drive 5/8 socket F-200

Found this at the flea market today. “PAR-V RG-1” is not a term the thread search supports. Also says “Made in U.S.A.” I am wondering about the years this style would have been manufactured.

Picked up this Snappy SF710A 1/2 drv ratchet in 3/8 handle at the flea Sunday for $2. Cleaned it up. Works like new! The Napa Long handle ratchet... was it made by Snappy ? Looks very similar.

I agree you gotta dig to find the buried treasure! I found these Blue Point DOEs for a dollar each couple weeks ago! Top 4 are BP, bottom two are P&C and Hinsdale.

F17's, all have 31 codes. Not uncommon for older speeders to have a bit of different lengths
