Thanks for the compliments folks, it's all pretty low budget, and we've only been at this house for a year (our first house... you should've seen my shop attempt at our previous place -- apartment carport with a chain wrapped around the table saw). As for the organization, it only looks like that between projects

.
I do about 40% wood, 30% metal, and the last 30% is the heavy modification of already-made items or the restoration of old ones...snip... What do you do for dust collection? I picked up this HF collector a while back and plan on piping the shop soon.
Nice! Glad to have some company here

I've got a Delta 50-760 also not pictured... Not plumbed yet, though, so I have to cart it around from tool to tool.
That looks great, Mike. Do you have more pictures?
Well if it isn't my own garage hero/primary source of inspiration! Thanks for chiming in -- I have no other proper shop pictures yet as I'm knee deep in a project and shop layout transition. I'm trying to combine elements from your garage design along some elements from this island workshop:

Mike, your place looks like it should be in one of Fine Woodworking's "Shop Photo" pieces.
Too kind, they'd probably laugh me away since my current primary workbench is a 3/4" melamine atop a set of retired kitchen base cabinets
