Smh. Nothing even worth reading yet! I plan to build one in a wall cabinet or similar fold open access/use, fold back up when finished.

Every time I see this acronym I want to cut somebody. It's probably just do to the fact that it's overused by white-trash, ghetto-girls on FaceBook, normally while posting a news story.

Dudes - I had to look it up! I won't tell you my reaction.

Back on track - I have a small shelf with room for the charger. Not elegant, and not sufficient for the drill/impact combo Mrs Outlander gave me for Christmas. Ideas welcome

I had to modify some WallControl shelving and then used silicon to hold it in place.

Since there hasn't been much of a response, I'll post a few charging stations and/or power tool storage arrangements where charging can easily be added. I have collected these over the years from the many talented folks on garage journal, youtube, and other sites.

Here is a storage floor cabinet I built a few months ago (sorry for the clutter)! Bottom 4 feet is storage, 2 feet in middle is charging station with overhead light, and top 2 feet is more storage with cabinet doors. Been a great addition to the garage "wood shop".

Built a simple charging station by wiring in a timer that controls 4 of my electrical sockets above my tool box.

Would a simple lamp timer be ok run the charger for the occasional user? Say one an hour a day or a week? I have seen 24 hour and weekly timers at the big box stores.

What would the electrical draw require?

RV batts, (in winter storage), ATV batts, (in winter storage), and normal rechargable drills and bandsaw batts.
I rotate the trickle charger around between the RV and ATV batts throughout the winter. So they always have a charge whenever needed.

My drill/charging station. One DeWalt 20v/12v Max Lithium-Ion charger, 2 Bosch 12v Li-Ion chargers, room to add at least one more charger if needed. DeWalt 20v XR Brushless Hammerdrill and Impact Driver hanging on the left. The Bosch tools live elsewhere. The corded drill in there is the first power tool I bought, a B&D 3/8" slim model that's more than 30 years old and still working.

Construction is 99% 12mm Baltic Birch scraps with a strip something or other as a lip for the front of the top shelf. There is a cheapo powerstrip behind the chargers to which all the chargers are connected. It, in turn, plugs into the diamondplate power strip visible at the bottom of the pic.

I'm really surprised to not see more people using the provisions in each charger for wall mounting. I'm ALL ABOUT getting things on the wall and off any sort of horizontal surface.

Below in order, M12/18 in shop, M28 (right) and Nextec (left) in shop, chargers in house for M12 light at front door, heated gear and M28/V28 shop vac at wood stove.

I use the 4" PVC/ ABS in my garage it worked great. Just switched everything to Dewalt 20 Volt got rid of everything else. 1 Charge station for everything, even has a USB port on it, I will get some pics this afternoon.

Wow. I have two chargers, I could get away with one since both my drill and impact use the same batteries. No need for a charging station.
