All of my stuff is stored away at the moment patiently waiting my new garage. Packed it all up when we moved from NH and the new garage is getting built next month. I collect alot of different things including the usual gas & oil signs, etc. but here's 2 I haven't seen mentioned so far. Old timers will appreciate the first. Vintage slot cars from the 60s. The big one in 1/32 & 1/24 scale. Planning a good size 4 lane setup in one corner of the new garage using 60s vintage Revell track I've been hoarding for many years.

My second contribution is railroad lanterns. The old style that usually have the railroad marked on the metal shade as well as sometimes etched into the glass globe.

Don -

You have a really sharp setup and the restored Texaco station is amazing ! I want to find and restore a visible gas pump like the two you have outside the Texaco station. Super interesting collectibles you have a I really like the display arrangement !

The older, unrestored antique cars add to the sense of the "old times". Well done.

If you ever want to sell your Sinclair Opaline Motor Oil porcelain sign let me know - I would be interested.

Thanks for posting !

Some swap meet finds, and a few friends who own bars. ;)

Sinclair Oil Corp, my dream garage.

I was even going to do my bus in Sinclair colours etc.... I had permission from their legal department to use logos as long as it was not for commercial gain.

I collect mainly number plates from around the world, and have traded plates pretty much around the world.

My alltime favourite is a Arkansas Purple Heart plate, kindly given to me by a two time PH recipient on here.

Then I also have others like a Japanese plate, German oval tourist plate and some others including a printed bear plate from Canada's Northern territories.

Still waiting for that elusive bear shaped plate, which might just be my best one ever.

Here is my collection. I really like Sprint Car racing on dirt. Go to Knoxville every August to the National Championship race.

My brother and I have been collecting valve covers for the past 20+ years. They get blasted and painted the correct color of paint and decals applied if available.
We try to get ones that are embossed with something that identifies the motor/car or just are cool.

Lippyp,

Very cool stuff. I like the Euro signs, automobilia and "tat"!

Some stuff from my garage thought you may like.

Rich

Beautiful 356s. Wow. I do love me some silver Porsche.

(I don't know how to bring the pictures in the 'quote'.)

I guess if you have that kind of money, (I mean look at the cars parked in there) you can buy anything you like.
Could be I'm just a little bit jealous :dunno:
