Almost like Christmas. These showed up yesterday.
Thanks torqueman. A great addition to the flock. I also received notice that a new ( to me ) 3/4hp with HD base was on it's way to me. Pics of that one on arrival.

Here's the 3/4 that's on the way. Complete less the one end cover. I may have to use parts from one of my other ones, or convert to buffer.
All I am autorized to say is: "The following Blocks have been caught and released into caring hands."I'm at 2.58 TBHP.
I would have been at 3.08 TBHP, but I gave up a 1/2hp to another GJ member this afternoon.

I wish I could; but, I am not authorized to release that classified information.TM, so you are saying that you have had 5.66 TBHP pass through your lair?
Do you dare share with us how much TBHP you still have on hand?![]()

Update - April 30, 2015April 25, 2015 - UPDATE
As pictured above, the Block arrived with no wheel guards/covers, eye shields, spark arresters, tool rests, or quench tray.
I asked if the previous owner came across the missing bits 'n pieces, as she went through her dad's estate, to let me know.
I received a hoped for, but unexpected eMail from her about this nearly NIB 3/4-HP ftop Block.
Attached to her eMail was this picture.

Looks like I won't have to cannibalize it's siblings after all.![]()
I've watched it pop up in my CL search. I eMailed the seller, but no reply. This round top has been listed for a few weeks now (he must have just renewed it) for any of you central/western MI guys. I don't get out that way much...

.....
1/2 HP Craftsman grinder on heavy duty pedestal. Good operating condition. Missing spark sheilds- make reasonable offer. Craftsman Table grinder - $100

"Missing spark sheilds (sic) ..."
The spark arresters are there, mounted at the bottom of the wheel guards.
The quench tray, eye shields, and maybe the LH tool rest are missing, however.
I'd say forget the HD stand and offer $40 for the Block, but be prepared to go to $60.![]()

hehehe, not everyone is a blockhead guru like you. If you look carefully, you can see the LH tool rest. It is positioned (tucked in) nicely below the spark arrester.
Oh, and I think (not sure) the wheel housing is on upside down too, that is why both spark arresters are at the bottom instead of the top. Which make me wonder which way the wheel spin

Here's a partial list of the bearings I've fitted to different Blocks.Hey guys, where can i get the bearings for my block? It's a 3/4 hp, model # 397.19450.

That camshaft block is great, hope someone from here ends up with it!!
Bearings should be common auto part store replacements, pull one and verify the part number on them and match them up there. As mentioned, sealed or shielded, shielded will require occasional oiling, sealed are permanent lubed.
MT: I'm pretty sure you have bought the most big blocks here the last month or two. Do you plan on setting the up with different wheels or just passing them on after you spiff them up? If you do have multiple wheels planned please let us know what it is. Cheers
