4 Drawer portable tool chest. The drawers are ball bearing slides with a weight limit of 25lbs per drawer. They lock into place with the lid down.
I bought it keep a set of tools in the back of my pickup. I have a hard cover that locks on the back so they will stay safe. I'll keep it in place with a cargo bar that I already have.
I'm very happy with it and it's hard to beat for $39.99.

This is my primary set of Chraftsman tool boxes. The set is built up from three separate boxes ..... bottom box, full-width intermediate drawer, and top box. They are all heavy-duty Griplatch style and about 7 years old. Very pleased with the set, unfortunately, I don't think this style is available any longer. Only real problem is the overall height which makes it a little hard to access the top of the top box.
I modified the bottom box by replacing its big drawer in the lower right corner with four shallower (top to bottom height) drawers. This modification is described in one of my links at the bottom of this post. Also, I've added several external accessories such as the towel bar and small shelf on the left side, and the glove box, can rack and fold-out shelf on the right side.

Here is the box that I use at work. I put it together from a couple of craigslist purchases.

I picked this one up today. It has a side shelf which looks to be from the factory. It is riveted in the side and folds into the side for storage.

The bottom chest also has a pull out work area where the first drawer would normally be. This is the only one like this I have seen. Can anyone tell me about this configuration. Was it a regular stocked item or was it custom ordered or did someone make/modify this setup?
