Zeb.. so sorry to hear about Tara… she looks like she was a sweetheart.
She was. Daft as a brush too, like every dog we seem to have had over the years.Zeb.. so sorry to hear about Tara… she looks like she was a sweetheart.
Sorry for your loss. It’s hard when a member of your pack crosses the rainbow bridge.

Yeah, dogs sure know when one of their friends is gone. I'm very sorry for you & Tara.
Even a rent-a-dog is better than no dog.The closest I have to a garage dog is when I visit my brother to help him with "his list" of things to do on his 100+ year old house or car work he wants help with. This is him with Karmann his late garage choc lab.
I've had a lot of very good dogs in my life but I reluctantly have t say my two Labs were the best dogs I ever had. First Dudley, a black Lab mix I later found out was half Dalmation - so he was one ********* "dot". I should have known something was up because he was the fastest dog I ever had. Then I brought home 9 week old blonde Lab, "Sooner" who crawled all over Dudley, bit his ears, etc. Dudley never growled at him nor disciplined him. He just showed Sooner (still my avatar) how to act. He grew up to be such a devoted, fine friend. I can't think of him too long or it makes me tear up. Rest in Paradise my boys until I hopefully get to join you. This is him with Karmann his late garage choc lab.
He looks SO much like my long gone lifetime best friend, Dudley when he was young. They are incredibly handsome, smart, loving dogs. Dudley lived to be 14 but began having epileptic seizures toward the end. He'd "freeze". He was conscious but couldn't move. He'd come out of it in a few minutes but he'd be exhausted and sleep for hours after one. He developed a white mask on his face in his later years but he was still active and fun for a very long time. I still miss all my dogs and yet some are just a tiny bit more special.

Dudley was truly loved. It is hard to see the cloudy eyes and grey muzzles knowing there time with you is getting short. Being there at the end is the greatest gift you can give them.He looks SO much like my long gone lifetime best friend, Dudley when he was young. They are incredibly handsome, smart, loving dogs. I agree. I could never understand the people who leave there "best friend" with strangers at the very end.Dudley was truly loved. It is hard to see the cloudy eyes and grey muzzles knowing there time with you is getting short. Being there at the end is the greatest gift you can give them.
After a lifetime of loyalty to be left alone when they need you most, sad.I agree. I could never understand the people who leave there "best friend" with strangers at the very end.
What kind of pooch?
Poor little devil. He got the crunchy, crumbly declaws?Mr Alpha had his first gender reassignment surgery a few days ago (and some dew claw remnants removed)
He had like tiny 1/16” points still sticking out. Like they broke off or something. I got him at 7 weeks and he was completely healed from the removal so I suspect they did them very youngPoor little devil. He got the crunchy, crumbly declaws?
Oh no, the cone of shame.Mr Alpha had his first gender reassignment surgery a few days ago (and some dew claw remnants removed)
Banjo is full blooded Australian Shepherd. They call that coat a tri-color.What kind of pooch?
Does Banjo have an off switch? My friend had a Border Collie/Lab mix (another herding dog type) who never stopped unless she was asleep. It was a blast to watch Keiko try to herd the kids while they played soccer in the field.Banjo is full blooded Australian Shepherd. They call that coat a tri-color.
