Is that pallet island ? The dog and i are wondering about that. Or the start of something big ?

We manage to have a big one a couple times a year :)

That is a lot of energy (and flatulence) for one household!!!

We had a boxer before, for about 14-yrs, but we had to put her down in 2009. It's been 5-yrs between dogs but this little guy got to me.

Ray

Amen.

Although, we've found a lamb food that has cut down on the gas. That said, Sasha sleeps with her **** pointed at your head......

While I don't have a shop just yet, my pups do enjoy working with me in the shed and driveway. The little one has been with me since before my daughter was born.

The small one we rescued because the female owner said that her husband was about to plastic bag the litter into the river. My wife and another lady showed up in time to get the last two before the womans husband came home. She is a Pekingese/Corgi/Beagle cross and we named her Snuggles. We have moved three times since owning her and no matter where we go she always stays right at home. [Forgot to mention she is 7 almost 8.]

The big one, on the other hand, we just got 2 years ago. He is my go to rough housing partner. I taught him to shake and to high five. When we went to get him the lady wanted $20 dollars for him. He was the only one of the 3 she had that came over to me and just went crazy playing with me. Named the big fella scout.

I'll let you guess just what the big dog is.

Here is Chew Bug. She is a very sweet dog and wouldn't hurt a fly but she's got the scariest bark I've ever heard from a dog. She roams free and never leaves our property. She stays on the porch mostly.

After 14 years of being a loyal friend Chew Bug is now gone. She died in her sleep on the front porch and had to bury her yesterday morning. It was a very sad day for me and the wife. :(

So everybody give your dogs some extra love and treats today.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. It's been 1 year and 4 days since I lost my black lab of 14 years. Even after a year, that feeling hasn't gone away.

RIP Chew Bug

It doesn't go away at all. Time may heal all wounds, but only to the extent that you don't think about it as much. When you do, the pain comes right back, even when you have newly-acquired pets. The joy they bring you helps you concentrate on them, but when you stop to think about your old pal, it still hurts.

RIP Chew Bug,

along with Riley, Herschel, Meatball, and Gunner

Merlin was the first dog I'd really had as my own after I left home. Linda was the county health director and was leaving town for a few days. I was informed she was bringing ME a dog home. When she got home with him, I was then told he was sick and came from the pound. I was given his meds and she left an hour later for a week. he was about to die from flea/tick fever and would not eat. I finally found he liked COOKED hotdogs, not "raw" ones. I put his meds in them. I then started getting him to eat and after 5 days he started coming around. He later died of kidney/liver failure from the damage done earlier. He was with me about three years. He was truly MY dog unlike the others here. Linda would tell him something and I'd tell him something and he would listen to me. He would only heard the sheep here when there was a real reason, like they got out.
The picture of the other dog is a foster dog that went though the new leash on Life program at the prison.

We rescued Copper a couple months ago. He's a miniature Australian shepherd.

Finally got a shot of my new garage dog doing something other than sleeping. He's a 5-month old boxer we got from a rescue group.

She is good for everything except the grinder or the welder. She does not like the sparks flying. She specializes in squirrel, rabbit and small lizard pursuit.
Other than barking and lap lounging she is a good for nothing endearing little dog. :):)

My boy has Ehrlichia canis right now and it's surely been kickin' his *** big time ( 100 lb). He started puking and gave up food last week.I went old school and the only thing I could get him to eat was grits laced with butter and bacon grease. We nailed him with doxycycline twice a day and I saw zero results from last week until..........today ! I thought he might die last night. He probably lost 15-20 lbs.
He has eaten about 18 ozs of pressure cooked chicken and mashed potatoes w gravy since noon today(divided into five mini-servings). Injected vitamin B complex and sent out for the PCR test. Results in an hour or 2.He's in some yogurt and ground beef heart as I type.
He's never lost a fight. Killed more strays and coyotes than I can count(American Bulldog--Scott type). He's not gonna lose this fight either !
No pics until later. Slow connection at the shop

these are my garage dogs. The first picture is of "Bronco, the Wonder Dog".{I wonder if he'll move from the couch today?} We had to have him put down earlier this year. He was fourteen. The middle picture is Hannah{black lab and greyhound mix} and Charlie, the golden retriever. Both rescue dogs. the last picture is Chica, she was Broncos sister. Bronco was the most laid-back, rug lump, lovable, 150 lb. mutt I ever had. Chica was a neurotic, hot mess! but so sweet and gentle. she followed my then 3 year old granddaughter everywhere and let her play dress-up on her constantly. this was the last picture of her, wearing my fishing hat, before she passed on. We called her "Indiana Bones". I still miss her the most. But, Charlie and Hannah are still here! CHARLIE!!! PUT DOWN MY SHOE!!!:D

Sophie my Cobra guard dog. Only problem is she is so friendly she would lick the intruder to death but we love her. Rescued from the shelter.

This is Bella. 10 month old american bulldog. She did not like the drive thru guy at McDonald's. She doesn't get much garage time. I work with the garage door open and she likes to run off.

We think this is a dog. Might be a cat. Or a miniature Wookie. Anyway, sometimes it visits the garage. Name's Coco.
