Yes we do this too and put them around a special bush or tree on our property. The collars of our last 4 dogs have come with us to all of our 3 houses.

We love them because they only want to please us. They have no ability to be false, to put on an act. They care for their human companions and make no excuse for it.

Not to mention they're warm and furry and affectionate. I know a few people that have no use for dogs and frankly? I have no real use for those people!

I was always impressed with how an older dog will take the new guy under his wing and show him the ropes. Things like housebreaking are easier when an older dog is present to set the example.

Guard dog in training.

Trainee all grown up and on full guard duty.

They may look like they're just chill'in, but don't be fooled. Zena hears everything and when she goes to investigate she will call for Zeus to back her up if necessary. He waits on the couch till she calls. No use wasting energy.

Share your dog!

Hopefully this is the right section.

I searched for dog but didn't see too much.

Let this be a thread to share pictures of your dog, tips, tricks.

Me and my girlfriend bought a dog shortly after we bought our new to us house.

He's about 4 months old now his name is Oliver he's a golden doodle. Smart dog, nearly house trained.

Here he is helping me do my first project in my new garage changing a wheel bearing and hub on my 2006 f150

As far as tips and tricks go. He thinks it's okay to bite, and he has sharp as razor puppy teeth. I've tried different things when he does it such as yelping and grabbing the inside of his mouth while telling him no. Nothing seems to be working, any helpful tips?

Here's my dog in my new garage!

Does anyone have any tips to get him to stop biting? He's got tons of chew toys, his favorite is a deer antler, but he still likes to bite hands, I've tried yelping and grabbing the inside of his mouth and telling him no to no avail. Any help appreciated

I solved it by getting two of them. They tend to chew on each other instead of me. Nice looking pup!

This is one of them...Fancy Greta Garbo... SHe was trained by Prisoners in the New Leash On Life program...Mix fice/ rat terrier I guess...I don't care, she is really sturdy...and smart. She is the white one and the one in the foreground.
I have another that is a Bird dog / walker hound / Heinz 57 mix... She is the spotty one in the background...Both sporting their new Canadian Bandanas..

Keep doing the yelping and telling him no. Hand biting stopped pretty quick. Unfortunately the last two dogs I had took until a year to get out of the chewing on things habbit.

My boys:...note that is one of his bones he is chewing on, not something he is not sposed to.

This is Rambo.
Today he got caught under the the elevator as I was desending with another guy The poor dog was pinned under it for about 1 minute before I could get it to raise back up.
He is at the vet. having several tests ran on him
I feel just terrible.

I sure that was it and thats what makes me feel so bad

Simon you are right I have already fixed the situation I put my snop-on freezer tool box in front of the railing.

He is very sore after holding up over 1000 lbs on his shoulders and back
I pray that this doesn't prove to be a problem when he is older
He is a 100lb 10 month old puppy
