Outlawmws – Hmm…I had to look up the Coleman Rising Sun image. I didn’t know what that was, but it sure does look like it. I suppose the inspiration came from the same place – rising/setting sun over mountains. We’ve got a pretty good view of that sunset from our front porch, so thought it would be neat to work it into the gate. The big one is going to be a rolling cantilever RV gate and I’ve already finished the smaller, and matching, side gate which was also supervised accordingly.

It’s HER kitten and she’s not sharing it! Ha ha. But seriously, it looks like she truly likes the kitten and is playful but also protective of it.
The first thing she does on a morning is go and see where he is and when she comes back from a walk he's usually waiting for her looking through the glass in the door.
He's getting a bit more playful with her and will usually be the the one who starts playing. She's still getting over excited sometimes and rolling on him or pinning him down with her paws. A quick bite of her legs by him stops that though.

I like the materiel on the couch Kay; right up my alley.
It's the second set of livingroom furniture with a similar pattern. The first set took 9 months to get made. The current set maybe 3 weeks. The next set will probably take so long, that I hope to be dead before needing another.

It's a Jaden couch by England Furniture. We've got the matching couch, armchair and ottoman. I'm sure there's a store that carries England in your area. They had a ton of Adirondack camp patterns.

You can buy the base version, and it's meh. I paid through the nose for extra springs, memory foam, and fully sprung cushions. It makes a world of difference. We've abused these for about 8 years, and they're still nice.

Excuse the mess lol. Took the picture in our basement which is kind of a mess. Dixie doesn’t mind she is a sweet girl doggie. Always willing to shake for a treat lol. I love my Dixie girl. She always greets me when I walk in from work she is always excited to see me. And always “smiling” too lol. Nobody else in the family gives her as much attention as I do. She loves treats too. Purebred Labrador Retriever. She is a little bit rare as she is technically a yellow lab but didn’t get the yellow color gene all the way so she is a white lab. Best $300 I ever spent when she was 15 weeks old. Someone I know her husband had bought her and she and the senior dog didn’t get along so the wife made the husband get rid of her and we were looking for a dog so Dixie was ours. That was in 2017. Her birthday is August 28th 2017. And she isn’t scared of squeaky toys like our previous boy Rusty was. Lol.

i just bought her a new collar and leash before vacation so it would be ready for my sister to watch her. I chose another pink leash and collar. I think the pink goes with her white coat very well. Makes it stand out along with looking nice too.

Here's my new lil' buddy. We just got him Friday. He was advertized as a 2-year-old, "8lb chihuahua". Umm, he's more like a 12lb chi-mix. He was a rescue from a hoarder house. We had to drive an hour and a half to meet him at the rescue place. Obviously he's much bigger than the chihuahua we had hoped to see, but he's a big ol' sweetie, so we took him. You can't tell from the pics, but he's still almost dangerously thin. We're working on fattening him up a little.

He's pretty smart so far. Just a couple days in, and he knows his name, he learned "sit", "come", "go outside", "no", and a bunch more. I'm pretty impressed.

Here he is- his first time hanging out in the shop with me:

I posted some of this elsewhere, but I guess it belongs here too.

Our Norweigan Elkhound puppy Astrid is almost 6 months old. Here she is with her best buddy Fozzie. Smile for the camera please.

She's gaining on him size wise. I think she's already faster than he is.

She is getting into everything. When my wife says "Bring it", the dog runs right over & gives up the offending item. But not for me. I have resorted to bribery to try to train her. The other day she got a soda can out of the recycling bin.

I traded her a goody for it & praised her for bringing it to me.

She is a smart pup, & knew a good opportunity when she saw it. Before we were done it had cost me 15 goodies & I had a pile of cans. Who was training whom?

I knew I was being had, but wanted to reinforce "Bring it", so I played along for awhile. Then I emptied the recycling bin.
