Yes. Yes he is!

It’s 40° out, so going outside to go potty is an adventure.

But he loves to be next to the stove when he comes in!
I wondered what the weather would be like in your neck of the woods about now. Still fairly warm in SoCal. Mostly always is except in late evenings. We put on our fireplace and neither of our current dogs will go near it. I think they're leery of the flames even though we have glass doors we can close - though we tend to live them open.

NOT smart doggies!

Upper teens and mid/high 20’s overnight for the next few nights. 30’s and 40’s daytime.

I’m still getting used to it. Especially because the diesel doesn’t really warm up. I have a 180° thermo in it, when I should go 190° and block some air.
My buddy Paul called the other day, and was boasting he was in a T-shirt, shorts, and flip flops. Yes he is in SoCal lol

I don’t think it’ll get cold enough in SoCal yet for the pups to fully appreciate the loveliness of a warm fire lol

Fahrenheit?

LOL.

Was 8F when I let dog out this morning, pretty sure his warm paws started sticking to the patio.

Now at 23.7kg (52lb), she's still putting on around 1.5 - 2lb in weight a week.

Lucy has passed up our elkhound. Astrid hit 50lbs & is slowing down weight wise (22.67kg if I figured that right 😁). She seems pretty happy go lucky, but easily shows that worried brow. At this point she has lost most of her tan coloring & those portions have turned gray. And she has realized that belly scratches are her new favorite.

He is still very much a puppy though.

Hell, he is scared of the dark when he goes outside to potty at night! I piss outside too so he doesn’t jump at every bump in the night! Hahaha

Here, T-Rex our German Shepherd and Lilou, our Bengal cat can't stand each other! They had to be separated in the house from the start because Lilou was very aggressive towards the T-Rex when he was a puppy. So sad!

Pretty crappy weather today here. Our first snow isn't far off. Winterizing everything for winter storage. The boy does his customary chase of a tree rat and pinching of a loaf when first let out. He will stay in garage and keep watch and wonder why we're not out tossing the tennis ball around.

I remember those days.....

We had a couple massive snowstorms that spring, and with the new pup I was using the back deck door for potty breaks. Never used it in the winter, and didn't realize the steps got iced over.

I bounced on my back down 3 steps, Baxter landed in about 3' of powdery snow, Very confused.

Didn’t do a dang thing today in the garage or in the house.

Did go food shopping.

Lil man was chewing on his knot (t-shirt remnant tied into a knot). Let out a soft yelp. Checked him, found a tooth missing (I have the tooth, I just dropped it in the truck and it disappeared). I believe it was just a milk tooth. Inspection of the other side of his mount reveals a milk tooth in the same spot where this one is missing. He is not in any pain, and ate some kibble no issue. We’re back at the house now, and he’s hanging out near the fire again IMG_2820.jpeg

Spent last night crashed on the couch enjoying the fire. He passed out like this IMG_2811.jpeg

I told him to not aim that toxic gas emitter towards me.

So he turned around. I told him he had some stinky farts right as he let one rip…IMG_2813.jpeg

He lost an upper canine milk tooth, here is a picture on my dog that shows her canine milk tooth trying to hang around and was eventually pushed out by the permanent tooth. Your dogs canine is coming in fine and will soon angle out and fill that hole and heal Up.

That’s what I figured.

Thanks for the reassurance lol

Last puppy I had was 12 years ago. And when she lost her milk teeth, it was uneventful. We didn’t even realize it.

Kinda cool I get to keep this one, if I ever find it again. It dropped in the truck, because lil man was squirming around as I was trying to get it out of his mouth (it was laying on his tongue!)

Most often they swallow them or the vacuum cleaner gets them!

Spent the day pulling umpteen boxes of Christmas decor from the shed.

The pups, Fifi (bigger one) & Max followed around endlessly. While putting up some outside stuff with front door open they supervised from front hall but didn't come out - good doggies. Then I guess all the supervising tired them out so they decided to nap together on the sofa.

Fifi was brought home to her original owner's house when she was tiny puppy. Max was the lady's father's dog and was already an adult. SEEMS like he thinks she's "his" to protect and boss around - though when they play she kicks his ****.....til he makes her stop.tempImageO0WztM.jpgtempImagePIZrGq.jpgtempImageelkeQx.jpg

Best of both breeds . . . heavily protective of the children. He looks tough. However, anyone could break into my shop/house, all you need is:

1.) A running vacuum
2.) Sliced Ham.

He would be in a state of such glutinious fear, you could walk out with whatever you want . . . 💯

Lucy's ears flopping about when she runs.

I saw this pic and was gonna post a replay and ask where it was taken ,

Then clicked on your username and saw the location

I was guessing correctly .

We visited England and Wales in 2004 , and it was a beautiful place.

We visited Abergavenny and Cardiff and several other places I can’t think of without finding the itinerary in the scrapbook .

Burnese Mountain Dogs? I've always wanted one.
Yes indeed, my daughter's dog she rescued from an abusive home when he was 4 months old and very sick and the people weren't taking him to the vet or anything. Costed her a fortune to get him healthy and he's been thriving. The previous owner named him Lucky, he wasn't lucky then but is now.
