He gets dreadlocky. Then he starts pulling out the dreads and pooping them. It's as bad as if he ate fiber fill.Kay, it's winter, if you stopped trimming his fur, he'd have a natural sweater...

Up here that's what is known as a Hudson's Bay blanket, originally manufactured and sold/traded by the Hudson's Bay Company, when they were fur traders starting in the 1700'sIts a pendelton blanket. Pretty much identical to the Bay Point it seems
And they both look like they know their lives are about to change for the better!2 great posts right there, to raise the winter spirits. Beauties. Congrats.
We just lost our old guy yesterday. Still have his "little sister", so it's not as bad as it could be.So sorry that you lost a friend. Most non pet owners don't understand how much it hurts.
When we put our chocolate lab Hannah down I couldn’t hold it together at the vets, I’m sure it will be the same or worse when our 3 year old black lab Daisy’s time comes. That’s why i throw that ball for her everydaySo sorry that you lost a friend. Most non pet owners don't understand how much it hurts.

Worse.Sorry for your loss, pets are amazing creatures and losing one of them is very much like losing a family member.
They can be. Depends on both the pet and family member. And the circumstances of death.Worse.
6 month old Golden? Female? Pretty calm.
He’s a 3 year old mini golden boy with a short hair cut. He’s the best dog ever! Not afraid of anything. I can fire up my drag truck in my shop and he never flinches. He just heads for the truck because he loves to go for truck rides! I can shoot or beat on some steel with a hammer and it doesn’t bother him one bit. He is the most gentle loving dog I’ve ever seen. But when the Amazon or UPS man comes down our long lane, he barks with such authority! But once they stop, he is ready to fly into the delivery truck for a dog treat!6 month old Golden? Female? Nice dog. One look at that front yard and I knew it was AZ. Lived there for 15 years.
You jinxed it. Lol
They are Aussiedoodles, right?Jilly (blue-eyed merle) and Betty (white with hazel-green eyes) are ride or die when we travel, living the dogs’ life hiking the property at home.

Rescuing a dog is truly a good deed and an act of kindness. He's my buddy, his name is Links. His 1 year gotcha day was earlier this month. I had him brought up to me in PA from down South. He was left tied to a Chain Link Fence in Arkansas and was poked with sticks and beat. That's where the name Links came from. He has been a great dog, definitely a protector and doesn't let me or the kids out of his site. He has some separation anxiety still because he hates if I have to leave the house without him.

Thank you for saving Links, what is wrong with people to want to hurt and torture a great pup like that....He's my buddy, his name is Links. His 1 year gotcha day was earlier this month. Since they are both half herding dog breed, I bet they run around a lot trying to chase stuff. My two Aussies will try to herd anything that moves around my property. It can be a problem with the Amazon & UPS vehicles. The Jilly is the Aussiedoodle, Betty is a Borderdoodle
Yep, some people are assholes. Because of his breed, he was in a high kill shelter and didn't have much time left. He can be a knucklehead when he wants to be, especially this time of year when it's cold and swampy so we can't get out more. I bought a bar that connects to the seat post on my bicycle and connects to his harness. I can't keep up with him when he wants to run, so that's how I do it. He pretty much pulls me along on the bike unless I'm going up hill. He only weighs 45lbs, but is really strong.Thank you for saving Links, what is wrong with people to want to hurt and torture a great pup like that....

We had a smooth coat border collie mix & an aussie mix. They frequently tried to herd each other. Running next to each other nipping alongside each others mouths.Since they are both half herding dog breed, I bet they run around a lot trying to chase stuff. They live a dog’s best life living in a mountainous forest with miles of hiking every day, no collars or leashes. They are not “outdoor” dogs, so there is much less concern about incidents with wildlife. Our deck has no direct stair access, and the dogs spend much outside time watching the wildlife. Its right-sized for their energy requirements.Since they are both half herding dog breed, I bet they run around a lot trying to chase stuff.
