Here's my crew, all rescues of one sort or another. Charlie the Boxer was left outside to freeze to death and at 2 months old weighed less than a pound. Benny the Eskimo/ French Bulldog cross was going to not be resuscitated because it was a mis- breeding. Last but not least there's Katie the Lab. Had peritonitis and had to be opened up from stem to stern to wash out as much of the infection as possible.

For those of you with working dogs that have a chewing problem, get them some beef leg bones and cook them on the grille for 30 mins. Give them 1 every other day until they outgrow that phase, usually 2 years. Your furniture, shoes, vacuum cleaner and other assorted chewables will thank you, I know, I have a Lab, lol.

Meet Max, She is a blue heeler mix of some kind:headscrat
She is the smartest dog I have ever owned. Got her at the pound a 1 1/2 years ago. Down side, house, garage & vehicles full of her damn hair and she poops way to much.

She will "load up" in a drop of a dime!!

Here's my pup Dinger. She's a 5 year old German Short Hair Pointer and Springer Spaniel mix. She loves laying around the garage while I try my best to get it cleaned up.

Now I have two cats who always want out in the garage with me. The black Tuxedo one reaches up and pulls the door handle down and out they come.

Harley is one fine looking old guy. My old guy is Timmy and he just turned 12 this month. He's a cancer survivor and we got the two little one's (Fred and Rose) who are brother and sister to help him get cheered up, he was getting pretty despondent after/during that time. We drove all the way out to Dayton, Ohio to get them. It really gave Timmy a whole new outlook on life having a little brother and sister, and now he's like a puppy again!

This is Drake, he is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. Still a puppy, weighing in at 120lbs. He loves the garage and all of it's smells.

Took the dogs out for a little playtime this afternoon... Sled is leftover from when I had LOTS of Malamutes, but the Goldens loved it!!

I forgot to post another picture - we added another one to our family. Bonneville is the lemon/white beagle that I got in March, and after a few months, we decided she needed someone to play with. Duesenberg is the little guy on the left. He's from a different breeder, but they're both "Queen Elizabeth Pocket Beagles". Bonnie is a year old, and Duese is 8 months old.

I wanted a beagle, and my wife wanted a "little dog" - so we got the littlest beagles we could get. They're loads of fun, and only howl when they need to (like someone in the yard or a car pulling in the driveway.)

She's my first Labrador, and I'm starting to understand why Labradors are the most popular registered breed.
