This is Holly.
She is an 4 year old English Rough Collie.
We got her from the local rescue center after she had been abandoned TWICE.

Cheers,
Richard B.

This is DJ (wife was a Dale Jarrett fan) half boarder collie half springer spaniel. I think it stands for dumb jerk most of the time but I cant go to the garage with out him and if you get out the cooler to go to the boat he goes insane! Have to put him in the truck to get him to calm down and thats after 11 years. The first few years we said its the boarder collie in him and he will calm down as he gets older. NOPE!!! He is the Best worst dog I have ever had (love him 1 minute hate him the next usually after he just ate something he wasnt supposed to)

GJ Fund-Raiser

Since it seems like so many people on this forum like animals, I think it might be a good idea to organize a GJ Members Animal Fund-Raiser. What do others think about this idea?

Wow, 16 huh? She was a regal looking old girl. I bet loyal as there could ever be. Condolences on your loss - to everyone that has posted about their lost "loved ones" of the animal variety. Its the very reason I started this thread.

I like the idea. I could probably help out if someone has a dog with degenerative myelopathy (or a llama, cat, rabbit, or pretty much any other para/quadra-plegic pet), getting a discount on a used cart or something along those lines. Unfortunately, that's where my ability to help would end. I'm pretty broke. Who would decide where the fund-raiser's money ends up going?

This is Jenson (Button) at 9 weeks.

Bought as a Birthday present for my better half, she was previously scared of dogs in a big way, but has since come round.

Now 10 months old, has spent every working day with me in the shop, has since learnt not to look at the welder and greats all customers with a wagging tail and a friendly face before they reach grumpy old me at the back.

He is VERY fond of cheap shots/sucker punches and will wait until you are beneath a car before jumping on you or standing on a testicle.

This is a great thread, I'm an early poster in this thread and visit it every time I sign on, even the wife enjoys the pictures of everyone's animal garage friends.

She's getting used to the loud noise of the garage.. This spring I'm going to have to teach her how to stay in the garage while I am out there even if the doors are open.

Here is Mischa Brei Parabellum and Jett Bauer Luger

Mischa is a 5 month old 32lb Brindle Boxer and Jett is a 2yr old 67lb Reverse Brindle Boxer. They are not related and will one day produce beautiful puppies.

Mischa is mine and she is just at home in the garage. She investigates noises instead of running from them. Jett on the other hand is momma's boy and hates the garage and loud noises. He has a mean bark but a light bite.

Who is there?
DSC03264.jpg

The only shop pic of Mischa. She loves to sit in the seats and watch. If I move the seats she just follows and jumps right back in.

And here's the mama's boy who doesn't like the garage: Dozer.

I had a neighbor that had those things when i was a kid. if i lived next to you i would shoot those things. they are friggin loud all the time and mean.
They are beautiful though.

I have 4 of these gentle birds 1 male 2 regular females and a albino female. The only time they are vocal is mating season and when a stranger first comes around. They know almost everyone that comes around regulary and always come running to see if that person has a treat for them. I just recently built a 24 X 48 shop and they stood in a line on a mound of dirt and watched the goings on every day of the build. At the end of the construction day they checked the days work in great detail. We also have 7 Chihuahuas that at times line up with their buddy birds to watch.

'kota, a blue heeler border collie mix, who i just had to put down a few months ago, and lexi, my rottie. a good personality shot of 'kota...he loved to go wheeling with me and he loved to play in the mud.

also have to mention my garage cat, cruiser. he likes hanging out in my fj45, but he's like 'kota and likes to get dirty.

Chaka "The WonderPug". Died last year at age 4, liver cancer. Not the smartest dog I ever had, but certainly the most co-operative. Very easy-going, never bit or even snapped at anything or anybody. Sweet little dog.
dam shame.

Here are my two little terrors, Frank (bigger & black) and Oscar (smaller & red). They may be short, but rest assured, they will ruin anything they can get their teeth on. They will defend you to the death though. The little (red) one actually just wondered onto our property about a month ago. Vet said he was about 4 months old.
