Love the bulldogs, here is my big baby... It was a little noisy that day, I had the saw, compressor, and vacuum going.

Honey.... she’s going to be 7 this year I think. Or 8...

I got her when she was 2 weeks old. Bottle fed her and everything. My tenant says she’s a lifeboat dog. She loves women and children, which I’m glad. I don’t want a dangerous pup around.

At the dog park today with my little toy poodle, Joey. I was talking with a couple visiting with their neighbor’s beautful Chocolate Lab, Milton. They said the neighbor has no time for him, never walks him, never takes him to the dog park. He’s a beautiful dog and super friendly, gentle.

Asked if I’d adopt him if they could talk the neighbor into letting him go? I said probably. He’s 9. House broken but doesnt walk well on a leash - I’d have no problem teaching him that. I’ve had two previous Labs, a black one and a very blonde, almost white one, Sooner - my avatar.

Here's our yellow lab pup Gypsy. She turned 6 months and 49 lbs yesterday and she loves being in the garage with me but I have to keep a very close eye one here when I am using any sort of power tool especially the circular saw because she like to eat the dust as it flies from the saw and she got really close to the saw so now she has to be put in the house while I am running the saw and then she gets to come back out.

Oh Dan it would be so wonderful if you take Milton. It is so awful when people don’t take the responsibility in caring for their pets.

Thanks foodie, I’ve not heard from them though I gave them my phone number s ok assume it’s not going to happen. Too bad. Not for me but for Milton. He deserves more.

If you give your dog too many baths in the shop/garage, pretty soon you'll have a rather reluctant shop dog.

We have owned several animals in in our time but I have to say this is one of the smartest and most affectionate dogs we have ever owned, pure bred Louisiana State Dog; Catahoula Cur, named Smilie.

Contrary to member, “Gurp” and his whole 79 posts saying the Garage Cat thread is the best thread on the site - THIS is the best thread.

I like cats, I’d even like to have a mouser in my shop but I’m a dog guy all the way. It’s why I started this thread years ago.

Besides, there are no Republican or Democrat dogs, and especially no Independent dogs - they’re smarter than us in that way!! There are no PVC dogs, no Snap On, Craftsman or Harbor Freight dogs. If someone does have a problem with dogs they don’t have the nerve to say it here with all us dog lovers.

Back to the top with my current rescue dogs: Joey is 11-1/2 year old Miniature poodle. NEVER thought I’d be a little dog guy and especially not a poodle owner but he’s as loyal and affectionate as could be. Goes with me everywhere now that I’m retired. He’s a little goofball and very youthful, unlike a big dog that age. And Bella, probably 13-14 (?) who is honestly anything but “bella” but she’s just a super sweet, happy little girl. Adopted from Craigslist 10 year ago. She’s nervous about EVERYthing but has never growled or been aggressive. Super sweet to our 3 grandaughters.

8" of snow yesterday and last night so the dog is in heaven. Of course he had to follow right behind me and the snowblower just like he does when I mow with a walk-behind.

Bubba’s a great looking pooch. Young and strong. How old is he? Reminds me of my
lifetime best friend, Sooner (avatar) who is now waiting for me across the Rainbow Bridge.

Here's Wally. He's 2 1/2. His buddy Mickey is 10. Mickey has the brains and Wally has the muscle. Wally is a slob as one can see from how he remade his bed in the front yard.

Great looking husky!

Mine outgrew her destructive phase around the time she hit 2 yrs old. She is almost 5 now.

Here they are roughing it up while I am trying to get something done.

Great to see some Husky dogs in these garages!

Nova is finally in his element. We've only had one big snow so far, and he was in hog heaven.

He's hopefully almost done with his destructive phase. He's around 2 now. He had to make sure the doorstop and the paper towels didn't attack me.

Since I last posted in this thread a few years ago, my old dog has died and I've picked up a new stray.

Douglas the GSD lived a long and fun life having adventures with us. Lucy, the pit mix is doing the same now. Great with my young boys and a real cuddler.

Molly. Our bulldog. She loves the garage but only allowed to be out there during beer sessions.

We rescued Bella last month from our local humane society. She's a 3 year old mastiff mix that's about 112 lbs of lap dog lol. She's a great dog and is really good with our kids.
