Not had the chance to use them yet Moose.

Humm.. Looks like a really nice set and they're very tempting. I do feel to buy a 3/4" set but don't really have any need or a whole lot of use for them. They still call out to me every time i get on the truck..

Nothing much, credit card bill is going to eat half my near-worthless pay cheque this month so won't be a whole lot of spending going on..

Snap-on FHF80, brand new. Will get hard handle.

Snap-on F872, also brand new, £28.20.

Just because i wanted one.. maybe it'll become the new go-to ratchet.

Nice ratchet! When you do the handle transplant you should do a step by step tutorial for us

I've done some, but not a "proper" one. If i have time, i will.

Was looking for an FH80, but this was as close as i could find on eBay. It was £60, i think, so not too bad. I've got an FHF936 with an orange handle too, but it doesn't see much use.

Supporting the habit...
Was looking for a deal on SK's long compound pliers, made a best offer, came out good. Kept on going... bought an OBD-II bluetooth interface to try it out, heard mixed things about these things but I haven't upgraded past an Actron 9180 and that's going on as old as dirt. Figured I needed to get a little protection for the phones too, since they'll see use as a scantool at least once. Then I found bobbleheads and mini helmets and now I really need someone to take away the computer...

- New SK Tuff1 1/4" ratchet. Very smooth and with a tight joint. Me like the Tuff. $32.50 + $13.45.

- New Proto Big Dawg 3/8" ratchet. Smooth action and superb handle. It feels really good in the hand. These were somewhat of a rage a while back and now I understand why. $19.95 + $8.95.

Funnily enough both ratchets required tightening of the screw(s). :headscrat But I always check the internals of my ratchets anyway so no big deal.

Just feeding my old junk fetish according to my wife, picked up two old (late 60's) oil pouring jugs, one branded as Duckhams and the other Mobil. They'll get cleaned up and used again. So much nicer than modern plastic junk, look way cooler hanging up in the garage too.
