I bought a set of those for a Ranger several years ago on e-bay. I've since sold that Ranger and re-installed them on two more Rangers since then. I originally paid $65 for them and wouldn't have a prop-rod hood vehicle without them. They work great and apparently last forever. Mine too are the Redline brand.

found this a few weeks ago, hunting with miss-spelled words, it was under "ingersol/rand impac wrench." note the "." after wrench, it made a difference, I suppose.

Needed for use on my Dodge C motorhome, and is a beast, here we have an Ingersoll-Rand model #2920B 3/4" super duty impact wrench, which sold for over $1500, ten years ago.

Obtained for $44, including shipping.

Here's my first post, folks--what a hoot to find a group of like-minded enthusiasts! I snagged this a couple of days ago, and with a minimum of clean-up it came out nicely. Now, a 1/2" matching mate would be great. I can see a ratchet collection in the works, and I plan to actually use them.

i bought the same model wrench on ebay that arrived just a couple of days ago. it sold for $10 with free shipping and it cost the seller $5.44 to ship. Deduct paypal and ebay fees and... he made enough to buy a cup of coffee?

At least he made you happy!

I'm having to work a bit to find a 5449 "LOS ANGELES" Proto 1/2" ratchet. There are plenty of "Professional" and a few "MFD USA" out there, but I'm looking for the specific ones made between 1951-56. At least that's how I am interpreting the Alloy Artifacts info.

I'm hoping there is such a thing. Anyone with some input on that?

I won some 8 out of 10 condition Snap On hard handled Torx drivers and was bidding on some nut drivers from the same seller. I lost on the nut drivers at the last second, no big deal. The seller than messages me that he saw I was bidding on them and had an almost identical set that he didnt list. So he shoots me the pics we negotiated a price and I ended up with the torx and the nut drivers. The nut drivers are all like new except the 1/4 inch is moderately used with a small slit in the tubing. Grand total for all 16 drivers. . .. .. .$145 shipped to my door.

this Snap On stuff is becoming an addiction! Here's this week's haul. All either brand new or new old stock. Averaged 50-60% truck price with shipping. Not free but I figure I did OK. The nut drivers were actually an early Xmas gift from my wife....I think I'll keep her around!!! The Corvette set is an Xmas gift for my Father in law. He'll likely just keep them in his desk but he's kinda into Corvettes (has a 2002 vert) and he's always looking for a screwdriver for something or another so I figured it was fitting. anyways, here's the pics......

Couple of my recent buys
000_0261-1.jpg
Snap On SF80, seems to be in very good shape. $85 shipped.
000_0262-1.jpg
Set of Cornwell HP long box wrenches. I was considering Snappys but since this set covers 8-22 and won't get used alot, $165 shipped seemed like a pretty good deal. All the wrenches are nearly new.

I bought a riser for my snowmobile 4-6 inches is the one I was supposed to get but he sent me the wrong one, etc. Not his fault, but mine and told me to go straight south. Well, Paypal claim, here I come!

I asked for a full refund and I will pay the shipping, tracking, and insurance to return him the item.

I don't think that is out of line.

This is what he sent!

This is what I should have received!!!

Britool 3/8" flare nut crowfoot wrenches. 19/21/22mm. Stupid Snap-on set only goes to 18mm.

Are you sure that's 3/4"dr? Most impacts of that style are 1"dr.I have a couple 1" ones around. 3/4" usually looks like a regular style airgun, just bigger.

I'm pretty happy with this shop light from ebay. At a local auction yesterday I found 2 porcelain gas station lights with globes that match this light. :)

@ sportdrew what exactly do you have going on there in your drawer? Are those screws with washers or pop rivets (is that to organize or to keep your wrenches from moving in your drawers)?

I used two sheets of fiber board. Top one to have the bolts go through and the bottom one with holes to keep the head of the bolts off the drawer. I did it mostly for the doubles of raised panels, but ended up continuing it for most of my wrenches. (I just bought the box and started buying tools 3 months ago, so I don't have much).

Bought this yesterday. Had them swap out the rear box. They tried to repaint the box and looked like a waterfall of runs.

Going to use it as a service truck? I could really do with one of those. (With a spec lift on the back!)
