Marathon N7 micro motor. This is what Foredom rebadges as theirs. Control unit, hand piece, foot pedal. Cheap from China. Too bad the stated hand piece was replaced with a knock off. Chinese knocking off the Koreans?!? :shocking: Just showed up today so waiting for the vendor to respond. *sighs* $134 shipped EMS.

Picked up a used Cornwell CAT-352D 1/4 drive impact for $31.00. I've been wanting a 1/4 impact for a long time and honestly this is cheapest, functional name brand one I've ever seen for sale. Cornwell website lists it at $209.00 full retail, I suspect a good driver would let you have it for $170.00 or so. I wonder who made it? It looks similar but not quite the same as the CP unit that Matco sells.

New guy here, very first post.

I got this 40's era Greenfield tap and die set for $91. Very few bids on it and it is complete, nothing broken. It has "U.S. Navy" imprinted on the outside.

Won these Snappy treats just before Xmas on some BIN's...... 10 pc metric wrench set, 9 pc SAE set, 3/8 metric shallow sockets, f80 ratchet and extension. 90% of it has never been used by the looks of it. Got it all including shipping for less than it would have cost me just for the sae wrench set off the truck :pimpflash

My first post, hoping i can revive this thread

Been buying a lot on ebay lately - filling the gaps now I work on a larger variety of vehicles than ever before

Cheap filter straps, bought for the second largest for 1HD and 1HJ toyotas

KGrHqVhkE6FyN5KsBOUN3wdZw60_12.jpg

Cheap set of zero offset extra long metric ring spanners, bought for the 14mm for exhaust/bellhousing mounts on 1HD toyotas. I'll replace them with snap on as I find them/as they break

KGrHqEOKjcE15SNmYqBNkJ0yrVbg_12.jpg

Set of deep 3/8 snap on 12pt SAE sockets, always wanted some decent sae sockets and these were a good price, brand new and unused. The three smaller sizes are Britool but I'll replace them with snap on as I see fit

KGrHqRHJBoE7yLOZpbWBO-1oi6Q60_12.jpg

KGrHqNHJBkE7ztiWPdBO-1k8OU60_12.jpg

Multiposition Magnetic work light, fantastic bit of kit, wish I'd bought one sooner. Lithium-ion battery and 21 LED, now almost my most used tool

KGrHqIOKioE14OK1goBNwVZPsr00_12.jpg

Job lot of older Snap on sae and metric sockets and spanners. Bought mostly for the 12pt shallow metric 1/2 sockets and the 18" breaker bar, when I collected the item the seller threw in a load of other non-snap on tools. Also included nearly full set of 1/2 12pt sae sockets and a good range of sae shallow 6pt impacts, all snap on

KGrHqVlkE65d-BfveBO-ckMnY60_12.jpg

30mm snap on deep impact 1/2 drive. It was cheap so I bought it, one of those times when the item costs far less than the shipping

KGrHqJmE6YcWtmYBO9E7USJH60_12.jpg

Job lot of Snap on industrial finish/impact sockets, went very cheap, I only bought it for the 1/2 to 3/8 step down. Does anyone have a clue what the tall socket in the lower left is for?

KGrHqZHJCgE7zCOsU7BO-f-KGikQ60_12.jpg

1/4 drive phillips number 2, was going cheap and ending in seconds so I stuck my bid in. Have used it for drum retainer bolts on 105 series Land Cruiser but its hardly ideal

KGrHqNHJBUE63VVILHMBO60ksqig60_12.jpg

Snap on oexm210b 21mm spanner. I've had the usual 10-19mm set of soexm**0b spanners for a few years and decided it was time to expand the set so I have some quality larger wrenches (already have snap on eurotools and teng wrenches up to 32mm but they just dont feel as nice)

KGrHqJHJDIE7zCgpGJmBPCdiTcIHw60_12.jpg

Needed a longer blunt ended knife for the occaisional work with plasmafoam and this blue point came up cheap and brand new

KGrHqZhIE6Zoed2SZBOnqseVjw60_12.jpg

Always wanted the 36" pry bar to match my set so picked up this one in good condition for a nice price. Use it daily

KGrHqFHJBME7536KPgBPC0HhuhQ60_12.jpg

I've never had any quality chisels or punches and I find the the cheapo chisels just dont stay sharp after the first grinding. Anyway I've been doing a lot of suspension bushes lately so I bought this old snap on set

KGrHqZhoE7k-wPS3mBPCytCG8w60_12.jpg

Blue point 8mm/12mm glowplug ratchet spanner for toyota 1HD, it means I no longer need to remove the crossover pipe

Bey4TfQCGkKGrHqQOKjQErzIYnukLBK-u4Vio0_1.jpg

Snap on oexm220b, further expanding my metric spanners, used regularly on Land Cruiser suspension

KGrHqFl8E7DQlB2IBPCcc7oyew60_12.jpg

Bergen ball joint splitter for 4x4 and light commercials, I needed to borrow a fork type splitter recently and I always think if I need borrow something I need to own one myself.

KGrHqVg8E7Q3codBPFfyIYMY60_12.jpg

Snap on 24mm shallow 1/2 impact, I bought the 10-19mm set years ago and have been slowly expanding it when they come up cheap, need a 26 & 27mm next

KGrHqRjQE8JWr8NzSBPCf1Cyr60_12.jpg

The first tech I worked with when I was an apprentice at a ford dealer had one of these and I always wanted one but not at dealer prices. Its a bit old and filthy but still does the job

KGrHqZHJCwE7z5ZQ-fBPBg61Erg60_12.jpg

Brand new 32mm & 36mm (oexm320b oexm360b) spanners, again to expand my set, got these for about 40% of retail. I love them

KGrHqZHJC4E7yjFVozBPCjDrc6vg60_12.jpg

10-15mm set of 12pt UJ impacts, snap on. I already had a non impact set which doesnt have a 14mm and I really miss that doing a lot of work on toyotas. NOS and very cheap

KGrHqJlYE8EoZK0LpBPDBZESn7g60_12.jpg

Snap on 17/19mm extra long 10degree offset wrench, supplements my cheap set and gets in some places the zero offset ones cant

KGrHqJHJDQE7yVyuMBPGvFgLc160_12.jpg

Job lot of very rough snap on sockets, only wanted the 9/16 deep 12pt. Too cheap to pass up

KGrHqJHJCgE7zFJbmBPGedyFQ60_12.jpg

Snap on 3/8 phillips number 3, far better for removing the drum retainer bolts on Land Cruiser

KGrHqVHJsE7yElVvYoBPFl6zMQ60_12.jpg

Short 14mm Snap on old script wrench, handy on toyota, picked it up very cheap. I intend to build the whole set peicemeal, I already have a few others

KGrHqZiwE4q0yFMOBOUW0EgpV48_12.jpg

Blue Point gasket punch set, I do occaisionally make gaskets so I guess it'll get used, but I just bought it 'cause it was a nice set in good condition. I'll probably use it to make a rubber retainer for the shank on my Snap on hand handle ratchet screwdriver when I convert it to removeable shank

KGrHqJHJDE7y-RZ9dZBPGwDqq960_12.jpg

KGrHqVHJBME74l-ZrzBPGwUu64g60_12.jpg

Decided I needed some flare nut spanners/line wrenches and I already have a snap on 13mm flare/open so I got these

KGrHqVncE63T0q3jBPD0vFSj60_12.jpg

KGrHqRhoE7l9w8foBPIHcRWw60_12.jpg

KGrHqNHJCUE8fijeiQhBPJwLlNcQ60_12.jpg

I could still do with a 12mm and then probably the 8 & 9mm

Unfortunately this wasnt purchased for me but for a friend using my account, its about 3months old and is in mint condition. It replaces 2x 41" KRA roll cabs & top box with end cab. Picked it up last weekend, looking forward to going over to my buddies place later today to see his tools moved into it

KGrHqNHJB8E7yzCyGiBPGIKZ8kVw60_12.jpg

Snap on FL10c 3/8 breaker bar. I've never seen the point of these as I already have FL80 & FLF80 but recently I really needed to hold a cam pulley still whilst replacing a timing belt on yet another 1HD, a ratchet just wouldnt do the job and I didnt have an offset wrench deep enough. Brand new in packaging for 50% of list price

KGrHqFg8E7QvUpREeBPCpLGDe60_12.jpg

Living in the UK I dont really have a great need for SAE wrenches but always fancied a set just in case. In my current job at a defense contractor I have to work on everything from golf carts, quad bikes, motorcycles, saloon cars, light vans, commercials, heavy commercials, fork lift trucks, access platforms, 4x4's, semi trailers, etc etc, basically anything the company owns and anything the company supplies/modifies for military/law enforcement/civil use. Nowadays sae wrenches are essential so I picked up this set of Flank drive+ from 3/8 to 3/4, I'll expand them up to 1" at least I think

KGrHqRHJDE8fZ5QJF4BPJVqitIrg60_12.jpg

Incomplete set of Metric speed spanners, snap on. Really handy for getting around auxilary equipment/armour. Need to fill in the gaps, my guess is the seller kept the most usefull sizes as the 10&13mm are misssing

KGrHqZHJBIE8e0J9P5BPJPdHnV60_12.jpg

OEXM240b again to expand my metric spanners. Used on Toyota suspension primarily

KGrHqZHJCIE7yzN6m5BPJdL864w60_12.jpg

With some work on Mercedes driveline/suspension coming up I thought it was prudent to pick up some e-torx spanners, I found a set still in their tray and got them for a good price. Again, snap on

KGrHqFHJB8E8fMw-NvNBPKobRunc60_12.jpg

Thats it for the time being, there's loads more I need (want) so I'll be sure to update soon

Been nothing here in a while, so I thought I'd post these:
SO Tee Ratcheting Driver, long shank - the short shanked one send to $40US, I got this for $25, someone it got missed? :dunno: :rocker:
SO Ratcheting Screwdriver, long shank A bit faded, but I'm sure it will do the job.

Somehow I went from wanting a complete set to just needing a stubby - sorted out with two others through a fellow GJ member. Awesome!

Koken Socket Drivers - all but the 8mm. 35gbp, a helluvalot cheaper than buying them here, and they never come up used...

edit: anyone know how I can link / post the images from the auctions here? Mine come up blank, and I cannot save them either...

Just bought some male pipe plug sockets. I've been buying all of the weird sets lately like weather head, 8 point, etc.

The black is nice becuase unlike the chrome it doesn't chip which makes them good for working in industrial settings. Also on wrenches is nice becuase it makes them slightly grippier.

I'm headed to bed at them moment but i'll try to take some pictures for you tommorow evening.

You guys sound like a bunch of women talking about shoes. Jesus H Christ, they're just screwdrivers!

It's not useless. It just has a different use than you were wanting. Wait until you're building something with odd angles and it'll be indispensible.

Watch this:

I'm aware of what it and how it's used. I got the protractor very cheap because it was listed as a dial caliper and there was no mention of it being a Mitutoyo.

LOL. If you knew what it was, and how it was used, you wouldn't have bid on it. Chances are that the seller didn't know what it was, either, so at least you have company.
Remember, the picture is part of the description! Don't blame the seller because you didn't know what you're bidding on.

I know craftsman gets a lot of heat on these forums but I just really like how their teardrop ratchets feel.

They are still shipping, but I got a full set of new USA made ratchets:

Ok... so this is my first post on here but since it applies, here is my recent eBay purchases. I wanted to buy some "extreme green" Snap on cart but didn't like the drawer setups on the Snap ons. I like little drawers for some things like the old boxes had, and I like long drawers for some things, and wide drawers for some things. Long story short, I couldn't find exactly what I want new, so I am going old and am going to sand them down either refurbish or replace the slides (on the long drawers I'll probably double up the slides as I did in my last box refurb). I'm looking for a good deal on a top cabinet from a double bay still (matco mb4225tc preferred) if anyone knows of one.

Just picked these up for a buddy for Christmas, he does a lot of model building and uses drill bits with bare fingers to ream/drill things out. Figured it'd be hard to beat Starrett.

I recently picked up this set of 5 NOS piston pin pullers for about 60 bucks with shipping. They're 60's era made in Italy. Also trying to put together a set of period correct looking tools for my 56' Csepel Danuvia and purchased a set of new Gedore DIN 895 wrenches.

Most recently:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281045825959?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 -- Decided to pull the trigger on this. My former (as of last Friday) shop had one and it's one that I've used too much not to have.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/271126541566?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 -- Another "my old shop had it but I didn't" tool. Instrumental for certain GM rear wheel cylinders.

And a couple of 1/2" deep 12 point socket sets to round out my collection.

Well, sort of Ebay, found it through EBay on a listing that allowed only US shipping so I couldn't bid. Turns out it was a garagejournal member (johnnybentwrench) and John was a real gentleman and agreed to ship to Canada, thanks John!

Its a Plomb flex head speeder, I've always wanted one, wrenching is a hobby and I like to do things by hand, so this will be great for lug nuts. Dates to 1942.
