My first 836 & first hard handle ratchet, it's 3/8" std length, and it is nicer in person. I am very happy with this one.

Also landed a VERY nice set of 4 (1/4" - 5/8"), 15 degree HiPo SAE wrenches, the surprise is that the old style is so very nice, round, thin heads, and they were minter than advertised. I wouldn't mind matching up larger ones though, but that is going to be hard to do.

That is a great score. They look like they are in excellent shape.

Work on which side of the pond?

The ****, cold, wet, miserable side. (That's the UK, in case it's the same your side.)

Snap-on 3/8" drive 9mm 12-point deep socket. For VW-Audi clutch pressure plate bolts. I bought a shallow one on Tuesday, but a deep one is better for clearance. And for $10, it was good. Made me feel better too!

And my Fluke 15B. Knowing nothing about multimeters i went for a brand i knew to be good, and chose something in the middle price wise. Something to learn on, and i've never owned a multimeter before.

:thumbup:I learned something today! I always wondered what application might use a 9mm. I've never used one myself.

I just picked up a FHOF936 for $41.50 plus shipping. It's similar to this one:

The Bolts on some VW Group clutch pressure plates are 12-point 9mm, others are 6mm hex socket head, and i forget the other ones. I have some of these unusual 9mm 12-point bolts in my toolbox.

I think they're also used for some brake bleeders on VWs. I know that most VW brake flare nuts are 11mm. I can't remember what else uses 9mm off-hand.

I pulled these out of the mailbox Friday. The T72 is used but very nice. The TM4CSA is perfect, and the #400 catalog and price guide (1997-1999) are very nice.

Nice buys!

T72s are sweet. Mine would bind when i first got it, but with a little grease it's been perfect ever since. I like those TM4CSAs too, i have a couple and use them all the time, they're great.

Yeah, this is my second T72. I love the one I have at work so I decided to buy another one for home.

Here's a few pics from inside the catalog for those out there that need a hard handle fix!

My ebay items are on their way! Snap On SAE flare wrench set and Snap On oex series 3/8 to 1" minus a 7/16! Got em both for 179 delivered. I think that was a good deal.

Here's my score. Driver shanks say "Stevens Spintites" (Looks vaguely like Stevens firearms logo...I wonder) but the cast iron base says " Walden Worcester Spintites" and "Made in Worcester Mass USA"

Early brand labeling?

In any event, I couldn't resist

I just got these in a few days ago. Brand new Armstrong ratchet wrench set for $95.00 w/shipping. I've been wanting to retire my aging C-man ratchet wrench set,and give them to my son. If anyone knows where I can get the metric Armstrong set let me know.
