Has anyone mounted a punch clock in their garage?

I had the idea to get one and then punch in and out everytime I do some work in there to get an idea of how much time I spend in there. Just for kicks.

Will have to find one at a garage sale or something, they go for over $100 on eBay.

I have built several of these for friends out of junkyard 40 Ford headlight rings. This one hangs in a friends garage.

Scored this old beauty from the hoarders house I cleaned up last month. Works like a charm, I just need to clean it up a bit. Anyone have an idea as to it's age? I'm thinking 50's or 60's.

A good freind of mine, who is Chinese, would love that clock. He drinks Black Label and I think the only reason he does is so he can get a laugh out of the waitresses when he orders "Brack Rabel".

After reading this thread a couple of times, and feeling grossly inadequate, I felt I needed an idea. So, while cleaning up under a workbench to build a shelf the idea hit me.

Satellite dish art meets garage art. Using this idea

and the right spot in my shop, near the radio View media item 22801
and the right color scheme, or appropriate labeling from some ATV or shop stickers I should be good to go.

Dish came from recent install of new terminal that required a new dish. Installer told me to recycle the old one as he tossed it off the roof. Took me a few months to recycle.

Cool! I'd guess late-'50s. Maybe early-'60s. When you clean it up, you might find a date code on the motor, or somewhere on the back.

Here's my shop clock, in keeping with my interest in WWII history. 1942 USN Deck Clock:

This is mine. My wife made it for me. She bought me a 12" miter saw one year for Christmas. Then I got her a scroll saw for her birthday and she had me take the blade off the miter saw, she traced the outline and cut it out of 3/8" plywood, then painted it.

Scored this off of ebay a couple weeks ago for around $40 after paying freight. About 12"x14" powered by a single AA battery. Exactly what I was looking for. No power to worry about or light to burn out. Tom

Took a while but I finally got it unpacked. Wife made this in a ceramics class for my Christmas present many moons ago.

Here is mine, totally bland. But what to do when the parts supplier refuses to take a pair of rotors back due to the " the package has been opened". Great way to secure no more business from me .

Once I get some other things out of the way and have a little free time, this is next on my list. I figured it would make a pretty unique clock for the shop. For anyone who doesnt know what it is, its a rotor out of a mazda rotary engine. I had 2 motors sitting around that had lost their apex seals and were junk. Id like to find a way to turn the rotor housing into a goldfish tank using a couple sheets of lexan.
