Here is my blue point. Its my sole tool box for now until I bite the bullet and get the HF 13 drawer or similar. Sorry the 2 small drawers pic didn't save onto my phone apparently.

The top - Hansen trays, extensions, screwdrivers, and ratchets.

Middle drawers pic missing is Left: pliers Right: specialty screw drivers, allen keys, hook/pic sets ect.

First full drawer - Wrenches

Bottom Drawer - Power tools (air and battery) and their respective accessories.

As you can see im full and its time for an upgrade. What do you think would be a fair price to ask for this bluepoint cart on CL. $150ish?

Here's my humble setup. I just bought the toolbox and have very few tools in it, so no need to see inside those drawers just yet. Most of my tools are in my cart. I am an apprentice at a Lexus dealership while in the T-TEN program at my CC. 1 year of experience under my belt. many more tool purchases to go.

Somehow, I came up with two Sun Diagnosis Equipment carts from the 50's.

This one was pretty mangled.

I had my sheet metal guy form me a new door, the old one was beyond repair.

After a little body work (should have done more), it was off the the powder coater.

New chrome bars for the handles and marmoleum top that matched the original.

This one is going to be my sanding station. My Jet 12" disc and 1" belt sanders on top, and all the disc and belt storage underneath.

The second cart will remain as close to original as possible.

my new Snap-on KRSC33 roll cart. Fabricated aluminum adapter plates so the screwdrivers wouldn't fall through the huge holes they put on the sides and an aluminum box for mirrors and flashlight.

I forgot to post an updated wrench drawer shot from my Waterloo cart, looks like it's time to reorganize thanks to Sears Gearwrench blowout. This drawer is all Gearwrench, the only other wrenches in this cart are the Matco Gearbox ratcheting box ends in the racks on the cover. I'm seriously considering the Cornwell CTBMM800 cart in orange, which will add a boat load more room.

A few updates for my home cart.

Top Till, still waiting for the 1/2" deep SK 25mm, 27mm and 3/8", 7/16" & 1-1/4", and the balance of the Snap On 1/4" drive should be in this week, and hopefully the Cornwell dealer will have my 3/8" SAE shallow and deep impact socket sets ( the deep set is one special this month). The 3/8" Metric impacts, Matco will have the 20mm shallow and deep this week, it ***** that they don't do less than 10mm in shallow, or 8mm in deep. These damn Hanson socket organizers drive me crazy, but I love pulling a socket from them with no hassle of a clip.

Here is about a 25 year old diy form an even older stand I just redid. I should have taken a pic before I started. It was a useless heap of **** with two spilled oil cans adding to the goo and a bad wheel.

Finally broke down and bought a new cart, had the drawer fall out of my old single drawer blue point for the last damn time yesterday morning. That and the Snappy guy finally started speaking my language as soon as he mentioned words like "repo'd" and "used"

Repo'd KRSC40, paid about half of retail and after going over it with a rag you'd hardly tell it from new.

Makes my 40" Craftsman look tiny and cheap
Photo06271647.jpg

Most commonly used stuff up top
Photo06271521_1.jpg

Can finally have all my commonly used wrenches on my cart, and not stacked on eachother.
Photo06271636_1.jpg

The craftsman trays for my 1/2" impact sockets will be going away as soon as I pick up some more rails to stick em on.
Photo06271637.jpg

Brute force tools and brake tools, along with my triplesquare and torx/e-torx sets
Photo06271645.jpg

So far the bottom has just become stowage for my airline, straps and front end service set

I'm going to go pick this up this afternoon. Between some cash and some trade I'll have $250.00 in it.

Here's mine. Its a 4 drawer US General kinda wish I would have went with the 5 drawer instead.Right now the cart is my main tool storage I'm working on getting a box.I had a bunch of tools stolen from me several months back including my roller box so moat of my tools are fairly new.I am slowly building my collection back up when I have extra money. Most everything I got is from HF or Kobalt as it is all I can afford right now.I plan to add better quality tools when I can.

Anyone have a link/source for a universal METAL folding side shelf for service carts? I'd like to get a nice one, not the cheapie sunex one I keep finding. I'd like for it to have a rubber mat on top, be black in color, and really don't care about the brand/manufacturuer.

Thanks,

Patrick

I added some things i though i needed to protect the box and side cab:
Clear drawer guards:

Edge guards for the side cab:
87501aaafa2d2b1.jpg

Bought the optional power strip and cord wind:

87501aaafb483e1.jpg

I have a couple of more accessories to add that will increase my storage capacity and more protection for the box.
At the moment i have more box than tools, so no drawer pics. I plan on remedying that soon. :)

Just got this used cart from my Snap on dealer. It's great other than the 4 wheel casters.
