Hey, thanks for the pics! I still think those old Snapon rollaways are just too cool! The roll down front door is definitely unique! I still don't think you have enough ratchets, LOL!

I have a bunch of vaco and xcelite stuff... Not bad, seem to work fine. As for the roll down on the front my father drilled a hole in the handle for the door and bolted a plate on because when he worked at IBM people could pick the like with a key that was close and that was a way to make sure your stuff didn't wonder off.... I bought another proto and plomb ratchet and might still get a bent handle if I can afford one... I thought the vise and aluminum top on the side box was the cool part. Also I don't have room for all of the hex (allen) sockets, so I have the set and the whole box is full of them to... The side box has a bluepoint meter(has an inductive rpm meter on it), fluke meter. Vaccum tester and a milwaukee drill and an IR 1/2 impact wrench... Some old blue point tap and die sets sae and metric. Lots of drill bits and extra sockets a set of proto and craftsman on top.

Try polishing; cut/buff it first! You might be surprised to see what you can do; the original paint is good stuff and it is amazing with the right materials; how you can resurrect a paint job from the dead!!

Okay guys I know I need to get better pics up but this is the new box that I needed to get for work. Its a Snap On Krl 1023 cranberry with the cover. About 1 year old not a scratch any where. Just needed a good wipe down and loading of all my tools. I know it looks black like I said better pics coming. Price was 3 grand with cover and delivery.

Well, since it's my day off, and in the interest of keeping this thread alive I decided to inventory some of my tools for insurance purposes. Since I'm a home mechanic, I bought one of the red HF setups a few months back and have moved most of my common tools into that box.

It's a great box and a good price for what you get -- definitely better than some of the Craftsman stuff.

My box and tools, mainly craftsman, but i'm slowly picking up some Snap On stuff when I come across it used.

My one bay shop my father lets me use with my cheapo Craftsman box. I need a bigger one, with wider drawers.

combination, t handle hex, and line wrenches

hammers, impact, pry bars and breaker bars

bottom cabinet space I keep stuff like my brake bleeder, my VW diagnotic cables, and fuel pressure tester/gauge, plus other misc stuff.

Wide angle up close. All cameras do it, some more than others.

You techtonics tuning and EMPI stickers on your box are classic; only the ********* VW nuts know these classic Volkswagen tuning companies! If you like craftsman boxes you should look at one of their bigger bottom boxes; they are on sale for under $300 all the time or a top/bottom for $300 for the smaller combos.

wow, that is very nice... but it is wide and too small deep... my opinion... i has heavy duty matco tools cart four drawers and i love it! i used it everyday and it has all common tools which less trips to my bigger boxes (KRL1203 and KRL1003)... i almost considered to buy one from my good snap on guy but somehow he has Matco tool heavy duty cart for used sale which i can look either snap on service cart or matco tool cart... i had to picked matco because drawers were deeper than snap on and matco are 375 dollars while snap on are 1,000 dollars... sorry...

yep, I guess I would consider myself a VW nut, I've dumped a lot of money into my old Jetta, and spent countless hours in the shop wrenching on it.

I actually was at Sears this morning looking at the sales they had on different boxes. They had a red 2 drawer ball bearing intermediate box on sale for 68 bucks. I was VERY tempted, but I'm also VERY broke
