Bought 2 and needed some additional holders because I used the 1/4's on a different rack, went to Harbor Freight and they had the holders $3.99... worked out great..

If your thinking of putting both sae and metric 1/2 in organizers on top it wont work with the hansen socket organizers. Here is what my dads 44 top drawer layout is. He had it all out of wack before i straightened it out.

I think the HF 44 is the best deal right now.

I agree, they had one left in stock the last time I was there a few days ago. I am not a fan of the Hansen organizers. Mainly because of the height, and sizes I may or may not have available on them.

I am thinking of the Ernst organizers and using them in the top drawer of the HF 44 roller cabinet. That way I can set the Ernst organizer to hols my long extensions as well.

How wide is the top drawer of the Harbor Freight Roller cabinet?

Are you saying that you used the Harbor Freight Clips on the Lowes Tray?

Well got an addition to the box today. I convinced a friend of mine to check out the US General boxes since he was in thr market for a new one, well in the end he bought not only a box for himself but dropped this off for me. Me and my friends go back and forth with gifts but I was not expecting this at all!

Slid right onto my craftsman and works great! Gotta get used to the colors not matching though lol

Cornwell double flex wrenches, they have a time and a place but they are handy

Pliers

Screwdrivers and dewalt

Hammers and pry bars/chisels

Tap and die set, air hoses

Miscellaneous, where I put my phone, wallet, keys, etc

Electrical drawer

Air tools and cordless impact

More case stuff, soldering gun, lights, dial indicator set

Hand tools are 75% snap on, all air tools and impact sockets are Cornwell. Sorry about the pics, somehow they got flipped?? Haha

My current setup is a mac tools box t the right with a mac tools side box and a international side cabinet. The center is a snap on with overhead cabinets stacked on top of one another. And finally to the left is the well know harbor freight cart. I added a new 1/4 plate bottom tray. A few interior pics. But its all going to change soon. I have a Krl1023 with a custom drawer configuration with a hutch and overhead storage coming

Man what I would not give to have that drawer full of Posi-Lock Pullers. Those things are the ****.

Toolbox has been great, very happy with it, will be the last one I buy since it is only subjected to part time home use. I like it better than any of the comparable price points by a long shot. Only way to improve would be to step up to a truck brand box for more money than I have or can rationalize. I tried the used box game with no luck and finally pulled the trigger on this and no regrets. Box is about 75% full and the more weight in the drawers the smoother they go. Money saved I am able to buy more tools, win win.

Thanks, nothing beats a power adder car! That's for sure. its a 96 cobra fully built. I'm re-doing the fuel system this winter and hope to break 800 Rwhp by spring. It's close to 600 now. It's fun for sure.

Would like a new box to put all the snap on's in and sell off all my cman boxes and tools. I can not afford a snap on box as im a college student, was thinking us general but found this husky, let me know what you think, does anyone have this box? how does it hold up?

Honestly in my opinion, I would spend the extra money and get the HF 44 roller(if the budget allows). I was also debating on which box to buy. I trolled HD, Lowes, and HF. That HD box looks nice but the metal is thin, and I've seen plenty of HD boxes have slide failures. The Lowes boxes were OK. But the HF box just felt solid. Do yourself a favor go and play with the boxes and go with your gut.

AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, IF I HAVE OFFENDED ANY HUSKY OR KOBALT OWNERS I DO APOLOGIZE.

Just bought this box last week. So far, so good. I like the work table on top...I plan on rolling it under my work table and then pulling it out to have a 90 degree work station when I am sitting.

This is probably my favorite thread on this site so I should probably add to it. All it took was a bigger, $200 toolbox and this website to figure out how many more tools I "needed".

This is my home toolbox. I just took pictures of the automotive handtools. There's quite a bit more stuff in there (wood, electrical, air tools) but those things aren't that photogenic haha.

Ed China does that all the time on the tv show Wheeler Dealers. The boxes he uses look pretty flimsy too.

Think I would have put a piece of 3/4" plywood over the box to spread the weight out to the edges a little. But I don't have a clue how those boxes are made so they may have plenty of support in the middle where the engine is.

it's called product placement. a few friends use teng tools, some of them are good, but i believe you get what you pay for

Can't beat like $5 for 6 or 8 feet of it, vs the Snap-On truck selling the same thing (with an extra bend) for $20+ for a much shorter piece...
