Thank you, it's great for small parts, every time my wife is at the shop she wants to take it home and make it her makeup box.

So make momma happy. Buy her a pretty wooden tool box from HF. They're around $80 and she leaves your "good" stuff alone.

Hey now that's a good idea

It's called "self preservation". She kept "borrowing" my pliers (...and leaving them in the kitchen drawer). I had to explain to her the my "big" box was not her personal shopping area. I went to HF and bought her a set of pliers (had regular pliers, side cutters, needle nose, ....) for the kitchen drawer. Happy wife, happy life. ...and she leaves mine alone.

Need pics!!

Id love to take them , but playing the hurry up and wait game. was told that the main box would be shipping soon yesterday as it was an in stock item but the hutch was not far behind. The 60" top box will be last as it isnt as common in the color scheme i ordered.

Now to keep saving to pay this ***** off so i can buy two side lockers.

Need to find a powder coat that matches snap on green to get my 4 post and 2 post lifts matching. they are mostly black now but will get the yellow arms on the two post and what ever is yellow on the 4 post coated.

going to start putting the 4 post together today if time permits.

I'm holding my breathe. Haha. Very curious to see it. I've always been a roll-cab top box man. Seeing some big roll-cabs with work tops makes me question my thinking.

I did it because I was tired having to use a step stool to get in to the top of my tool box and twist getting down. Not good on the back.-

If you get the box new, you can get it in any color combo you want.
( stock colors and trim of course. )

Just finished my 4 year apprenticeship program and am now a red seal certified tech in under 3 years. This has been a long time coming and I needed a toolbox upgrade so what better way to celebrate.

Here's me next to my new MB1353 Maxsimizer, first choice was a krl but our snap-on dealer passed away while I was in school and a new dealer wouldn't have been able to touch the price I got this for even with my 30% student discount. Couldn't be happier with my purchase, this thing is huge in person!!

Here's my old box in front of the new.

Was a great toolbox and made me a ton of money for low cost filled with snap-on, & Mac tools, would recommend it to anyone just starting out in the trade.

Fairly close replica to the Milwaukee box

My guess, that box, Milwaukee, DeWalt and a number of other ones are all the same basic box. When will somebody remember how to make a decent drawer layout? The 56" wide DeWalt wasn't bad as a combo since it had a pretty good mix of drawer sizes between the top and bottom.

You will happy with the Mac, no need to worry about missing something with a KRL. Also I agree with the craftsman box, those were perfectly fine boxes.

Nice mac. Congrats on the red seal. How did you find the exam? I'll be writing my red seal in another month or so (different trade though).

Had to reorganize the wrench drawers...here's the current setup for metric (SAE is the same).

Still need to pull the trigger on some wrench trays.

Who makes those wrench racks?

If that's for me, they are snap on. Expensive, the long version I have there is $27. They call it a looped tool organizer or something like that. Three drivers I talked to had never even heard of them, I had to special order them.

I'm looking for something else that lays flat for my larger wrenches.

I found it to be quite easy or so It felt, a lot of questions I had seen on ita exams from my previous year exams. However the test was written on paper so Ita takes for ever to get your marks back to you :(
